1990 Legacy RS Type RA Downpipe question

I was wondering if anyone could answer a question for me. Im pretty sure the GC8 downpipe is different from the Legacy one...but what is the difference...is it just length? if so...are there any manufacturers that make a catted downpipe for leggy turbos?

Do you have air care in your area? Either way just get a shop to build you one with a cat, or relocate it further down under the car. I've got a similar car we built the downpipe exhaust in a few hours, an hour of that was spent on the milling machine opening up the turbo to exhaust flange.

The Impreza down pipe is shorter than the Legacy one and needs to be extended at the lower piping.

Most setups will have the cat in the horizontal piping and not in the down pipe.

a wrx catted DP bolts on fine. just have to do some mid pipe fabbing to mate it up to whatever exhaust you're runnin.
