Default trans swap in fxt..help!

hi all
i kno its on here somewhere but im in a huge hurry to get the parts. Im swaping a 6mt in my 2008 forester xt. I know that 04 sti trans fit up really well andi dont have to change the bolt pattern or suspension. My question is how can i achieve this with an 05 st trans. I will not change the suspension or wheels so its not even an option

what is your plan for the rear diff and are you swapping hubs and brakes
that should be your question ..

04/05 really doesn't make a huge difference (different front diff and different front axles)
the hubs are the big change

You would need the stubs and seals for the front diff to fit an 05 tranny. As long as the rear diff ratio is the same you can use an auto tranny driveshaft and keep the rear stock.
