The "v-limited" knockoff you have is actually an s203 knockoff for the 04/05s. The real s203 lip actually came only in carbon fiber.

Note the round front edge as opposed to the angled down front edge of the s204/v-limited style lips. For example, compare that to my actual v-limited replica style JNA lip (was mounted in the picture slightly bent, but is perfect now that I mounted it more securely)...

Had to point out that there's a slight difference, just irks me for some odd reason when they're mixed up.

oh... and inb4 many many more v-limited lips in this thread, lol.

The thing to consider is when you've gone 2 inches lower in the front, one of your last options to keep from damaging any thing on your front end is to straddle objects, along with hit every incline at an angle. The splitter does really complete the look but I think it would be tore up in no time.

Best pic I have, but JNA retrofit onto an 01 RS

Changing to a C-West lip for spring though, cant say enough good things about the JNA lip though, definitely worth every penny

splitters can help protect your very expensive lip, a sheet of alumilite or other like composite is not exspensive compared to a carbon or kevlar lip

Word. Painted v-limited's are one of my favorite setups, or at least until the Cusco arrives.
