Default Bandimere Sunday

I wanted to congratulate Bret for his trophy Best Appearing Vehicle - Runner Up and Harvey for his race trophy, he got a little jumpy and red lighted but he still made it into the finals.
Bret's car is sick with the full Ver. 5 treatment, roof scoop and in the deepest black paint you have ever seen. Just a beautiful Impreza period. He would have won if the 3000GT with about 5K in the paint work and $100 rims hadn't shown up. Anyway, very well done... now the 600 hp goes in.
Harvey had tremendous consistency and beat many tough competitors. Nice Job Harvey, the trophy was truly well deserved. When are you getting the cage to be legal?
It was great talking to everyone who was there and seeing all the good ideas people had put into their Subarus.
I will post pics later.
Oh, Shiv (Vishnu Performance) was there and he definitely has a new advocate for his products in me.

Wink Semi Finals. Jumpy without my meds.

Sorry guys I almost won . What a blast! I get jumpy, it is true. Maybe next time we'll have a blue wagon against a black monster RS. then we can all win. I am still legal !!!!

I need but can't afford exhaust. Sponsors?
Crickets, " Chirp, chirp, chirp."

I can't wait till the next event. This was more fun than test-n-tune.

Default Good Job!

Yes, good job you guys.... always nice to see subees and not Hondas or Supras winning stuff for a change. Bret, your car looks incredible - most certainly worth the repaint

Congrats to you too Harvey. Either you just have mad driving skills or your car is a freak!!! Either way, good job. Im glad to see you know how to drive... Wanna run mine too ??? (evil grin)

If there was any downside to the day, it was that I got conned into buying all kinds of food and other crap for my kids, who complained all day about being too hot. They even went home with matching (rather expensive) Bandimere T-shirts. Oh well, the cost of being a Dad.

Good job everyone.

Happy Monday.

Go Subies!! I can't wait to see Bret's car. When is the next import drags at Bandimere? Anybody know?? I want to see a Sube in the 12's, and a AWD burnout (kinda impossible to do for long) would be cool.

Too bad I could not make it. I was up in Breckenridge, then caught a bad cold that currently has me flat on my back. I am leaving for Vegas on Thurs- so hopefully I'll be well by then.

The next IDRC race is Sept 21 and 22. I'd be willing to bet 12s will be a reality before that. Wednesday night possibly.

Default 4 wheel burnout should be easy

Actually a 4 wheel burnout should be easy.

step 1 ) tie rear tow hook to something solid.

step 2 ) apply libral coating of tire slick (preferably one of the silicon compounds) to tire treads.

step 3 ) make lots of smoke.

Not that I would actually recommend anyone try this.
