Default FS: (Seattle Area): GT SPEC Rear Diff Mount

As title states,

I have a lightly used (1 month ~100mi) GT SPEC rear diff mount for GD body STi.

The reason for selling is because It is causing vibration (on decel) in the cabin of my WRX due to the extra stiffness of the mount. I also have a KAAZ LSD installed as well which i'm almost certian that its contributing to the cause. However, performence wise, it is great.

Just a tid bit, I think I'm getting vibration because I did notice that the bushings are wider than the factory one, It required some light pounding to get it into the cross member. My assumtion is that the WRX and STi cross member is different. Perhaps this would not be an issue with an STi.

I decided to go back to the factory mount, much more daily drive friendly.

I paid retail for this and I would like to get $115 shipped. SOLD FOR ASKING PRICE!!!

Thanks, Let me know if you questions.

I can tell you this mount is not the cause of your vibration.
I have this same exact mount in my 2006 WRX with an STi driveline swap.
I used the WRX rear diff cross member and all other associated parts along with this mount.
It is a great piece, and well worth the money you are asking.
It is stiff, and will not allow the diff to move at all, so if that is what you want, this part is perfect for that.

I am doing a Forester STi project right now, and I would buy this in a minute if I had not already purchased a different mount.

Posting this reply so that your potential buyers will know that this mount does NOT cause vibration... I think your problem is elsewhere bro, bent axle, bent hub, wheel balance, wheel bearing, etc... It could even be that your driveshaft has a bad U-joint.
Not this mount.

Good luck with the sale, GT Spec makes great parts, and this is one of them.

Thanks for the bump,

I think its a combination of my LSD and old bushings on the tranny & cross member. On top of that I have a 6spd swap as well.

I'm planning on hitting all mounts and bushings this summer so I will know for sure. The factory mount did however solve my problem for now.

Thanks for the FYI.

Sorry guys, got so busy with work I completely lost track of this.

This is back up for sale.

I also have TiC Rear diff bushings for sale as well, less than 300 miles on them! Make me an offer for that too.

I ended up just running a Stock STi diff mount.

My loss your gain.

Hayden

They would be the confort ones...I figured that would have solved my vibration issue but it didn't. Which is why I ultimately went back to complete stock
