Default Driving lights

Just curious as to how many driving lights people have. I have 4 so far, and want to go with more. I do a lot of highway driving in the White Mountains and Im just curious as to how many lights the Alt. can handle. Any input?

I dont know about your state, but in Oregon I believe the limit is 4 front lights. I dont think that applies to fog lights however. A nice set of amber fogs would help cut through fog or snow.

As far as the alternator, I think the stock one should be fine. There are high output alts. that you can get that put out ~30 more amps than stock.

the limit is 4 forward facing lights.
be it head lamps, roof lamps, fog lights, whatever
4 or you can get a ticket

And if your looking for better lighting think quality over quantity

depends on the state. Here in MI, its 4 aux. lamps - ie a set of driving, a set of fogs, plus your headlamps.

Any more and you have to run them covered on the roads - ie theyre considered "off road" lighting. Most states have this covered restriction.
