Default It's happening... the ButtDyno part-out thread.

March 2011 update: this thread was superseded by http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2127691

My car has been nothing other than awesome and reliable for 8 years but I am moving on. I'm a little bit emo, but it was bound to happen eventually.

I haven't started removing stuff off the car yet, so this is just the easiest to remove stuff for now - more stuff coming for sure.

If you are interested in buying stuff, please email me: [my screen name] @ gmail.com.

Please note that I reserve the right to be completely arbitrary about who I sell stuff too. I have been burned too many times trying to sell stuff and meeting people who don't show up, or make excuses for two weeks, etc. Cash generally rules the day here. Not so much dibs.

[deleted]

*** This part out is at a standstill - looks like I may be selling the rest of the stuff all at once.

Thanks
John

Stuff that is sold or unavailable just for reference

* 17x8 +45 Enkei RPF1s (gold) - no tires:
$700.
Being sold with the car

http://tinyurl.com/3u4zav

Light and strong. I'm keeping the Blizzaks that are on there but selling the wheels. No curbs, though they've seen some winter. These clear Stoptechs and Brembos.

* 17x8 +45 Enkei Tarmacs (white) - no tires:
$550.
SOLD to irish44j
http://lh5.ggpht.com/_5SEBLP78urQ/TL...0/DSCN1572.JPG

These weigh the same as the RPF1s (15.3 lbs, I think) but they look substantially more awesome. Mine are not pristine though. I'll take more detailed pics soon. These also clear Stoptechs and Brembos. These were JDM only wheels that I got through a Rallispec group buy.

Pictures (wiped off with a shop towel, no real effort into cleaning them):

http://picasaweb.google.com/buttdyno...05975441760226
http://picasaweb.google.com/buttdyno...05999407275074

* Version 7 STi grill (WRB):
$100.

I bought this from Japanparts, I think, a while ago. I believe it fits both the wagon and sedan, not 100% sure about the wagon.

* Sparco Evo seats w/ custom Piper Motorsport brackets and sliders:
$1100.
Pending to: kcook (driver), CamaroFS34 (passenger)

Should fit the 02-07s and might fit other cars. They are light and hold you in very well. I have the original black fabric inserts, plus the blue ones if you want that STi look The seats are 5-6 years old.

If you're cross shopping prices remember to include the sliders and brackets. I haven't had a lot of luck with off the shelf brackets which is why I went custom.

Driver's seat:

* 17x8 +44 Volk CE28s (bronze) with 245-40-17 Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec tires:
$1200.
Still available

These are the lightest 17x8s that I would trust on the street (i.e. they are not SSRs). The Dunlops are pretty well documented as one of the top street tires out there. I'll have to measure the tread - I think it's something like 4/32" left. These are not perfect close up - I'll try to get better pics. But they're freakin' Volks.

Wow John, I never thought I would see this day. Any plans you can speak of? I'm very temped by those ES-Tarmacs. I miss my set I had every now and again.

Yeah, sorry, this is going to be a slowwww part-out

My next job is to find a set of stock brakes so I can sell off all the wheels, then clean up the Tarmacs and RPF1s. The Volks I took off the car a while ago right after washing them.

I want one of the Sparco Evo seats without the brackets. If you're willing to part out just the seat or if someone wants just the brackets, let me know.

I have front and rear stock brakes from my '05 if you want. We could probably work out a deal for the ES-Tarmacs if you would like.

I love your car with Enkei Tarmacs. Can't wait to see other parts being sold.

By the way, where can I find STX decal?

Hmmm. If Brian takes one seat, I'd be interested in the other seat... (need one for the passenger side)....

So - kcook was the first person that asked about a single seat (with brackets) - then Brian (without brackets) - then Karen (with). I'd really like to sell them with the brackets as I think they'll be hard to sell by themselves (sorry maeng). I'll double check that kcook wants a driver's seat, but I think this should work.

So, it looks like the seats are pending to kcook and CamaroFScoolautomatic (unless they run screaming when I send the pictures).

The Tarmacs are pending to irish.

(and the EDMs are spoken for, if anyone is stalking)

There's someone interested in most of the rest of the car, so I'm gonna call this thread 'on hold' for right now... unless someone wants the Volks, which are ready for sale.

Gonna take some pics too.

Added Ver7 STi grill.

I'll have Ver7 STi door cards, a Ver8 STi rear seat w/ passthrough, and Ver8 STi carpet for sale pretty soon.
