Look up the procedure for programming your fob to the alarm. It can hold up to 4 remotes. You may have 2 of them filled but not the other 2. Try filling the other two spaces with your current fob codes. Someone may have a similar code somewhere or something. Worth a shot. If that dosen't work get some holy water and fill the squirters.

PS the programing procedure is on our Scoobymods.com site.

Smile Could it be?

Well I was just wondering if you keep yor keys in your pocket? I do and mine would lock and unlock it's self too. Even when my key were inthe house and she was in the garage! Those keys are sensitive to any pressure on the buttons. At least that was my case, and it may not help you at all. Just a shot in the dark.

Default same frequency huh ?

same frequency as another remote.

thats funny,

you should run around with your remote and try aiming it at other cars.

My Car has done the same a few times.

I am extremely anal retentive about locking the car and I absolutely flip out when I find it unlocked.

I have no idea what is causing it. I have done absolutely nothing to the car, so it is nothing I have done.

I am tempted to take it back to the dealer but what is the point, it has only happened 2 or 3 times since I got it in September.

If you find out what it is, I am definately interested to find out.

Most likely the pocket thing. Our key fobs have an incredibly long range. I accidentally unlock my car, from inside my house, all the time. I'll sit down at my desk, or bend over to pick something up, and I'll hear the alarm chirp. I just make sure I put my keys on the table, when I get home, instead of pocketing them.

Exclamation Consider yourself lucky...

At least yours are unlocking...My 98 GT has decided to lock itself about 3 or 4 times WHILE RUNNING. Imagine how weak that is!!! And, not to learn my lesson, I still have no extra keys...
