So far I've got their catback on my car, which consists of the midpipe which has both a muffled and non muffled option for our cars, and the already mentioned axleback. The muffler is their own design. Absolutely NO drone with this exhaust. Build quality is also incredible.

I opted for the muffled version since I was worried about how loud this system will be with an aftermarket DP.

I just posted a video.

So this is just their axleback exhaust paired with a midpipe? What's the difference between getting this Megan Racing midpipe for $329.99 and pairing it up to your Nameless Performance axleback? Yes Megan isn't the greatest brand but shouldn't it sound the same?

I think the video is just of the nameless performance Axle back with their new muffler and all other stock pipes. It honestly sounds the same to me as my nameless w/ out mufflers but you can never say for sure until you have heard it in person.

Maybe it's just me but on my end it sounds more throaty and loud than the stock midpipe.

To clarify its a full Nameless Performance catback. The whole midpipe section has been replaced w/ their system. Videos are always so hard to judge since diff cams have diff mics etc etc.

I had just the Axleback on the car for a month and a half before getting the muffled midpipe on. I can assure you it definitely quiets down the exhaust all the way through the rpm range. Its a little on the quiet side right now for me since I don't have a DP installed, but once that goes on, im pretty sure the volume / tone will be perfect.

Xabre, I replied to your question in the other nameless thread, its 5am here and im too lazy to copy paste lol.

Either that car is loud as fcuk! OR...the device you used has a crappy mic. Probably both!

How is the drone on the highway? Has it attracted any negative attention yet?

camera isn't the best as far as how the exhaust actually sounds, but it captures the loudness spot on. ****ing thing is LOUD

drones like crazy on the highway.

i actually just paid my exhaust ticket but honestly if you don't got WOT and just drive normally it's nothing crazy.

Add to this if I'm missing some...

Greddy, Cobb and Tanabe are working on releasing some.
thank you for this. been reading this thread back and forth a few times. which ones are actually full TBE? i dont want to waste my time piecing together bits. Seems like nameless is 'working on it' but their site has a bunch of individual pieces?

ideally i'm going for full 3" TBE with 1 high flow cat on the downpipe.

uppipe i still have to do some research on but looking to eliminate cat if its there (been away for a while and just getting back into subaru swing)

thanks (:

Its not hard to piece together a DP and CBE. If you want cheap, go Invidia. Just look for something that is a normal flange, or else you will need a donut gasket if you go with the Cobb, but the Cobb also tapers down to 2.5".

As for UP...Grimmspeed
I wouldn't even bother looking elsewhere. Just the quality for the price, is hard to beat. Plus they are very active on this forum so I would much rather help them out.

sweet thanks. love the subaru community. will look into grimmspeed after work tonight. i just liked the simplicity of ordering a full TBE, but i guess i'll scope out the CBE options for something i like and pair it with a DP. Will scope out invidia and chime in this thread again later

No need for an up unless you're doing headers or an ewg. You will be fine with stock. No cats in these cars there.

As far as the tbe...get an invidia dp, and a catbacl that you like the sound and look of. Most are full three inch so you just have to bolt it together. Simple aas that. No need to have same brands of cb and dp.

Guys I have a question: Is there a difference between the piping/performance of a stock 2011 WRX exhaust versus that of a stock 2011 STI exhaust?

My question regards the sedan. I appreciate your help in advance.

oh sweet @ no cat in uppipe. i'll leave that alone then.

I am really digging the invidia q300 cat back with titanium tips. so maybe invidia dp as well. just took a look at it http://www.invidia-usa.com/Products.aspx?ProductID=155

like that is has a high flow cat. any pro's cons to not having the wastegate have its own path like some of the other dp's i've seen? guessing those are catless

then i just need a catless midpipe and i'm good to go!

thanks for all the help guys

edit: just saw it has a 'divorced' wastegate, but i was referencing the ones that have literally its own pipe going down with a flex joint

edit2: looks like the catted invidia dp replaces the midpipe as well? so it takes out 2 cats and puts 1 highflow in place?
http://www.rallysportdirect.com/Invi...rced-Wastegate

so basically all i need is that downpipe and my q300 cat back with titanium tips and i've now got a full system yes?

interesting...the downpipe looked really long in one of the photos.

is what i'm thinking. i'm covered as far as 02 bungs and all 1 high flow cat right? it almost looks as if the catback might have another highflow cat in there, but it doesn't say.

The invidia cbe has a resonator in the mid pipe. Resonators are good for eliminating unwanted frequencies in exhaust sound while still providing straight through flow. It mainly serves to limit in cabin noise not necessarily outside noise.

Just installed Invidia Q300 + Invidia Catted DP. Incredibly easy install and excellent made product(s). Welds, fitment, everything is flawless. HOWEVER, I kind of wish I had heard the Q300 in person before buying it. It's too much bassy rumble for me. I wish I would have gone with a SPT or Cobb catback…something a bit quieter so the old lady doesn't complain

When I heard the spt on the sedan it sounded louder and more bassy to me?
