I can't stand the drone 1.5k - 3k from the invidia catted DP + q300 V2 (V1 on my friends hatch is a different story) on my 2012 WRX HATCH. It sounds great when you get on it but cruising in any of those rpm ranges if your on or off the throttle at all will result in stupid amounts of boom inside the cabin.

So I will soon have a for sale thread for the Q300 V2
Throw up a video or two of the Nameless once you have it installed!

i have the nameless performance catback with 4inch mufflers. Skip the resonator option. It barely made a difference when i went resonator delete. I ended up spending more for a resonator, then getting a delete. The loudest part is during warmup when the airpump is on. Other wise no drone whatsoever especially on the freeway with windows up

Can anyone who's recently bought the Turbo XS CBE for a 2011 hatch confirm whether you'll need to buy new hardware to connect to the OEM DP? Most of the posts a few pages back talk about needed new bolts.

Thanks

Remember that the Greddy EVO2 was quiet because the resonator was 2.25" for the entire length on the GD cars...

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...60&postcount=1

Smaller than 2.25" in the resonator.

Default Burnt rear bumper with stock exhaust? (White STI)

Is that possible? Can the stock exhaust burn the rear bumper? I want to buy an STI 2011 and the one I seen had some kind of yellow burnt should that be telling me the car has been modified or can this occur with the stock exhaust

You can use the stock spring bolts but are a pita to get on and will be under a lot of tension. The txs bolts you get will not fit onto the stock dp. Measure the size and head to a local hardware store. Remember the spring bolts you get from them go on the back.

So after reading all 52 pages of this thread and listening to a lot of the clips, I think I might be ready to change cat backs... I bought my 2012 WRX Sedan with the SPT Cat Back less than 4 weeks ago and with only 900 miles on the car it's still a little louder than I was expecting... With that said, I am super impressed with what I've heard from the TurboXS cat back for the sedan. I also like the large tips compared to the SPT. Anyway, thanks for those who have posted videos of the TurboXS on the sedan and if anybody would be interested in purchasing my SPT Exhaust (less than 1000 miles of use) let me know.
