Probably just get a custom one at that point. Or the Nameless muffler delete.

Did you use the stock hangers or replace all the ones on the section you installed? Also, I'm guessing these are the 3.5" tips?

I ordered 4 new hangers, but yet to install them. My hangers are pretty much brand new so I figured I would wait a bit. My tips are 3.5"

I personally think the Perrin sounded the best. Nice and deep rumble, then it gets pretty throaty, my only complaint is that for some reason, I like the look of the stainless steel quad tip. no if only Perrin made something like that. Or at least i couldnt find it. Anyone know of anything?

I have heard the Perrin on the hatch and it was very tame. Not sure about the sedan.

Very different...

The SPT is throaty and hollowed sounding. The STi is more refined. As in, more time went in to eliminate the gurgle and spacing in sound waves, creating a much more fluid tone/ bass.

So it doesn't amplify the UEL sound as much? Is it quieter?

That's what the SPT seems to do.

I am EL and this exhaust doesn't amplify in my opinion. Purely a refined tone. I say this because even though I am EL I still have a distinguishable boxer rumble. It is about the same decibel level.

That looks really nice! Too bad they didn't have a nice exhaust on the S205 for the hatch

Reminds me a lot of the GReddy SP Elite tips. Some of the best looking, IMO.

The bottom of the mufflers and interior walls of the tips on my exhaust are completely smooth. I believe that's an early version on the blue STi.

There is a STi Sport muffler just like mine for the hatch FYI... Manufactured by STi.

Considering switching again?

Not really. Just hadn't seen that one before. I really like that tip style (hence shy I have a similar one). Do you have a link to the hatch version? I've never seen that.

+1 for the hatch version. Never even knew it existed.

Where did you pick up the s206 exhaust from for you sedan too?

Haha, I don't think he's going to answer that. He's already skirted the question numerous times.

http://www.japanparts.com/db/parts_d...=&SEARCH_page=

I am more than willing to share, direct contact info too. Fact is most who inquire will just waste time. Japanparts keeps a huge browsing page of available parts.

PM me if you're truly considering buying. The exhaust would be at you door faster than most US based vendors could get an Invidia to you.

I was patiently waiting for the GReddy Evo 3, that's still estimated as a January 2013 release. No regrets though.

Yeah, I'm sure it's just a lot of hand raisers. Usually the price of the JDM stuff scares people off pretty quick.

Now why did you have to show me that exhaust!?!?! I want it BADLY now!

It looks like a very interesting design for the hatch. Appears to be a long, thing resonator, and then a small-ish muffler (like the one on my current GReddy). I have a feeling I would like the sound, and the quality looks top notch!

2 grand is a lot to spend on an axleback though! I'd probably have to shell out for a 3" midpipe to pair with it (custom or Nameless), so that would be another few hundred dollars! But just look at it!!!!!

Get it, you can't resist.

Then be sure to take a ton of pictures and videos of it... Then trade/sell it to me for half price

The quality of manufacturing is what I first noticed on that under body shot.

They have a sound clip too. Sounds really quiet. I think I'd love it. Soooo expensive though...
