That 90 bent pipe going from the midpipe to the first resonator looks pretty tiny. I'd feel bad chopping it off and having some shop weld on a larger one though. Just seems wrong to do that too such a nice piece.

Hot dang. Those JDM parts are ridiculously priced. I think I'm just gonna have to settle with SPT then lol

c-ser makes an interesting exhaust for the hatch.

just want to ask some questions before i continue on the path with nameless.

what is the inlet diameter of the axleback? 2.5in or 3in? i'm guessing 2.5 since you can hook it up without any modification
I don't have my downpipe installed yet (3in catted invidia).. if i buy the midpipe from nameless later or get someone to fab me a midpipe, will it be 3in inlet to 2.5in outlet?

wouldn't it be easier to call nameless and ask those questions, i assume they would be more knowledgeable.

Just ordered the CNT catback exhaust since the TurboXS I ordered was back ordered till early January. Looks fantastic and from the videos I saw online it sounds amazing too.

Sorry if this video belongs to a member here. Just wanted to post what it sounds like.

Basically I'm looking for a quad tipped exhaust to keep the OEM look. I wouldn't mind the burnt tips or even black like I've seen on Perrin but sound is the biggest thing for me. I want the deep boxer rumble and I want it loud. I have a 2013 STi that's stock right now and I know that A DP and other things are gonna change the sound but what would you guys recommend?

You need to clarify sedan or hatch. You should include that in your profile as well.

I would recommend SPT, might not be as loud as you want though.

My bad. It's a Sedan. I looked at SPT, it's not as loud as I would like. Like you said.

Invidia N1 Race if you want loud...

Oops, dual tip, just get the Nameless without mufflers.

Just want to make sure you heard the spt on the sedan and not the hatch. I've heard the sedan spt in person and it was pretty loud even with the stock dp. Very boomy. The tips are too recessed though imo and if its on a white car with even a catted dp it will leave a yellow stain on the bumper and you will be cleaning it at least once a week. the hatch spt is fairly quiet even with the catted dp though.

I can't speak for the sedan, I have heard it's louder though. I finally picked up an SPT again for my hatch and with a catless downpipe it's almost too loud for me. It sounds great but seems a bit droney, I'm thinking about going catted again. Does anyone have experience going between a catted(aftermarket) and catless downpipe with a louder than stock catback? I might just have a local shop chop a resonator into the midpipe, but I don't really know if that would help either. It does look good though!

Yeah I got a white sedan so that'd probably be a no go. I wash it fairly often, but I don't always have time to wash it weekly. The stock tips seem pretty recessed but if SPT are even more so I can see why you'd get a stain.

That's too bad. It would have been worth the wait, but conversely, I understand your patience was worn thin with a long wait. Post up your thoughts on the CNT. People who get it seem to really like it for the money.

Hello,

I did some searching but I couldn't find an answer to this question:

Which is louder? The Mad dad Whisper or the TurboXS GT Catback?

Both are for hatch. I've heard the Mad dad and Boy does it sound nice

Does anyone have a video of the Nameless muffler delete on a hatch? Curious to know how it sounds and how loud it is.

It has to be loud as hell. I have the magnaflow on my 13 and if you use their rating system of 2 vs 1 stock I think they are off 1. I'd say. 3 for the magnaflow. When I get on mine it's decent volume, and that is their quietist option.
