Well, finally got the video and pictures uploaded so here goes.

Up on the lift she goes:

The install was rather easy with the only problem I ran into was the bolts provided with the kit did not fit through the flange from the mid-pipe to the cat.

Problem area:

I ended up just using the stock spring bolts which worked amazingly. Other than that, the install was straight forward and the fitament was perfect.

Finished product underside shot:

Rear shot:

Finished product off the lift:

Side Shot:

So, how does it sound. The interior sound is loud and deep, but not too loud. I can easily hold a conversation with someone. Their is no drone in the front seats but my backseat passengers have said there is a noticeable drone. Oh well, the exhaust isn't there to please the backseat passengers.

Enough talk.....onto the video. I found you get the best sound out of the video with headphones. You can really hear the deep tone.

Short interior shot:

That sounds pretty nice on the video. I might recommend that to my friend who might buy the hatch soon. Before this I was recommending the turbo xs to him. I think either of them sound pretty good though.

Looks nice. Doesn't sound real impressive. I can see why they don't offer it in the US market. I don't think it would do well. Especially at the price they have it at. Seems like great quality if it fits what you want though. I wouldn't mind it if it had larger pipes.

The exhaust wasn't designed around the items I have installed, or the USDM STis. Subaru wouldnt put it on my car to impress anyone with sound quality. Quite a few differences. Notice how the catalogue clips, and other YouTube clips all sound different depending on setup. A clip from a 3/4 view and the car sounds completely different.

Plenty of variables contribute to exhaust note. This exhaust is for style and not designed towards the US market's preferences.

This sounds very nice, I'm currently with the OG Nameless with magnaflow muffler. Debating swapping the axleback for Nameless 5" or mufflerless. Any thoughts? What do you think about the mufflerless setup?

Great thread! Thanks!

I've been looking at the Magnaflow for my '11 hatch. Not married to it, seems like a good intersection of reliability of manufacturer and cost. Any other CBE's to consider in the $600 > range?

That was the funniest video I've ever seen. The lady walking across the street was epic. Was there a Subaru in the video?

From Cobb I would prefer a cbe because they do dumb things like putting catalytic converters on the dp.

Turbo back requires a tune and voids your warranty

Catback does not

I'm ordering a 2013 Monday and I'm hoping cobb will have one out by time I take delivery.
