Stock DP. I linked the clips on here some time ago. Still loving it and wouldn't trade it for anything!

For those of you with the SPT exhaust:

Is there a gasket between the midpipe and axleback? I didn't get one when I bought it used from a member here but the exhaust installed just fine. Just wondering if I'm accidentally causing an exhaust leak somehow.

I haven't taken it apart myself but I would assume it has a normal flange gasket.

Anyone here has perrin quad tip axleback for the hatch? How is it compared to a nameless axleback with 5" mufflers? Like which one is louder, better quality and has no drone.

Ive been trying to look someone local who has them so I can hear them but I couldnt find anyone.

Wanted to add a quick video of my 2011 STi. It had a Perrin intake and Nameless Performance axle back exhaust.

Am I correct in saying that the midpipe to axleback section is 3" in diameter? If so, I'm just going to buy the gasket.

I'm not sure, because I know the midpipe is not a full 3 inches.

Thanks for your help. I'm aware of that as well. I've searched all over for an answer on midpipe to axleback (IWSTI, here, WRXForum, Google, etc.) and I've barely turned up any useful, consistent information. I ordered a generic 3" 2-bolt crush gasket for now. I'll be hitting up the dealership as well to see if they got anything or if they've got a full set of hardware for it.

Anyway....gotta show at least one pic of the thing installed:

^there's a thread about the evo3 sedan on iwsti. A couple people posted saying they called Greddy and they said they have no plans for the evo3 until summer for the hatch.

I have an Invidia downpipe + catback on my 09 WRX. And yes they´re quite noisy, mainly when riding on the highway (130km/h and up).

All the nice looking exhausts are too quiet =/

The n1 is single out
and you have to shell out an extra 150 for good tips on the nameless.

Wish the q300 was louder

Just installed the Ark Grip cat back on my car over the weekend. Running Cobb DP as well. It sounds amazing! Couldn't be happier!

My turboxs with down pipe is plenty loud.

Anyone looking for louder probably just wants the attention. In that case, get a Harley.

Dont have either yet (MY13 sedan is ordered however)

been looking into options for a while. Just going based off what I read/sound clips.

The nameless and N1 sound nasty.

Local subie owner has the N1 just dont like the gap it leaves.

and version 2?

They updated the product for the hatch. v1 Q300 for the hatch wasn't loud at all in comparison to version 2.

Nameless muffler delete will fill the void for the loudness you want if you think the Q300 isn't loud enough. Best part is if you find the delete to be too loud you can sell it and buy the axle back with a different muffler. Or send yours back for a muffler installed.
