Default 98 forester p0302 misfire

I'm driving a 98 forester with 200k roughly. It has been constantly giving me a p0302 misfire in the 3rd cylinder. I have replaced the spark plugs, and wires, but it did not help. Any other suggestions of where to go next or what it may be?

first off a PO302 is a misfire in cylinder #2. if plugs, wires, and coil didnt fix it you have two more things to check, fuel, and compression. your injectors could be clogged or the electrical connecting is bad. compression is a tougher thing to test but you can check for a cylinder leak down test to see if that one cylinder can hold its pressure.

Good luck
