Default Are UEL worth it?

I am looking to go to a muffler shop and have them fabricate me a pair of UEL with a high flow cat pipe.
Is it worth it?
Anyone done it yet?
How much?
Does it add any power? I know UEL wont do much. But maybe over stock headers it will be better.

I have a 2010 impreza and an exhaust.

On paper it's probably a bit better, as in you won't really feel it. The only thing you're really getting is the UEL sound, though.

P.S. I see a lot of subies from EC on these boards, I always thought that was kinda quirky. Where'd you go to school? I went to Hebron.

UEL is worth sound but not power. If you want power, then you're looking for EL and a well engineered product like TWE's headers.

UEL's are great for sound, with no cats and the right header exhaust, you can get a little more go go juice but nothing that's gonna make you get giddy.

I have UEL's, no cats whatsoever, 2 HF resonators and a greddy ti-c axleback, she def moved offline better.

However, with UEL's brings a whole bunch of issues that can crop up such as cels, the always present sewing machine affect, etc etc.

Plenty of reading for you to do in this section in the topic

I was just wondering because I really like the boxer sound and going to a custom shop would be cheap.
And yeah, ive seen some kids on here.
I went to MRHS.
I know there is a kid here in HoCo with a blue WRX. One of the new once. John
