Oh come one, that M5 is still a ton of car. Maybe not your cup of tea, but certainly a great vehicle.

R34 GT-R.
I was about to buy one but talked myself out of it because it is a two door, bought an STI instead. Have had the chance several times since then and always decide against it. I lust after the car, Not sure why i keep talking myself out of it.

The STi is gone and I'm driving a beater 98 Legacy wagon. I want something fun. I keep telling myself I should buy a Porsche (911 or Cayman). But I've yet to do it. I get a fix for the fun in the wife's 335ci every now and then. The the itch keeps getting worse and worse. I'm going to have to scratch it sooner or later.

Was talking to a US owner that was/is selling his in CA. Can afford it, even to maintain it, insure it, etc. But, logic wont let me. I would hardly drive it (already have a few cars I hardly drive), spec' wise any modern EVO/WRX/STi is faster/better and the money would be better spent on getting a new, to me, home.

993 i think

I came close to buying a low miles mint one for 30k 5 years ago, since then the milage on those cars and the asking prices have steadily rose. I love the cars but they just seem to be too desirable to be any sort of value these days.....unless the bottome falls out soon

Being the worst M5 still means you're an M5

Any Evolution besides the X. I like the idea but hate the execution. Supra, too.

Lotus Elise

It would be my first choice as a "toy" car, but I know I'll never have the disposable income for such things.

Believe or not, a Miata. My wife refuses to let me drive one on the grounds that it challenges my masculinity.

Oh well, life goes on.

Pro tip: It's not the car that is challenging your masculinity...

Got a number? I'd be happy to inform her she's an emasculating bitch that has no business telling you what you can and cannot buy.

Hey, maybe you can swing a 63 Black or a GT3, ignore this post if that is the case.

However, something tells me a MS3 to a GT3 is going to be a stretch.
Yeah, I think me and about 5 other OTTERS read the OP wrong.

That I could afford, I'd say 95 MR2 Turbo with BPU.

Definitely this:

Could easily have it. Want it. Want white leather interior, pimped out stereo, ridiculous gas mileage. Want it.. bad. but also hate it. I'm sure I'd hate how cramped it is, I'd hate the lack of speed, and general light and shabby feel, and have a hard time selling it for what I'd have to pay to get it here.

But, I waaaant it.
(for those who don't know) Subaru Sambar with the Combi VW conversion, supercharged or turbo'd 660 cc, AWD and TINY. Kei cars can be a maximum of 10.8 ft long, 4.59ft wide and 6.5 ft tall. Maximum of 63 hp. This one is apparently about 1600lbs heavy! GC8's were around 2700lb! Power to weight ratio would be about half what a regular impreza from these days were (120hp) or about 1/5th of what an STi from this time period was.

Did I do it right!?
