Question 99 outback engine problem....

I have a 99 outback, with the 2.5 engine in it. The problem is while I am driving. I will be driving on the freeway, and the check engine light will come on, power seems fine, until I take the exit and come to a stop. It will just start to bogg out, then die. I restart it and it idles really rough. almost like it's running on two cylinders. Then while tring to start moving, it has almost no power. I have checked under the hood, and everything seems to be in working order. I have no idea what it could be! please help!

Sounds like your IACV. I've cleaned mine a couple times before finally replacing it. Pull it off, spray some carb/brake cleaner to get all the soot off. And manipulate it in/out a few times. Should do the trick, if not time to look for a new/er one...
