I may have to give up on all the other race series and just focus on this 1 for this year.

Hope to see more people out there this year. By far the most fun and affordable events on the calendar!

all rules can be found here: http://lapbattle.com/rules.html

STREET CLASS:

The Street Class is designed to showcase stock to modified vehicles. Street Tire Class is home for the grassroots enthusiast or tuner shop looking to prove they have the fastest vehicle on street tires. The Street Tire Class vehicle should appear to be capable of being driven on the street. The Street Tire Class does not require that all modifications must be street legal.

The rules in this section apply only to the Street Tire Class. These rules along with the General Automobile Regulations are the only rules that apply to the Street Tire Class.

Engine and Drive Train:

Engine upgrades are allowed within the same make and model, i.e. Honda B to Honda K, Subaru 2.0 to Subaru 2.5 or Nissan KA to Nissan SR

Straight cut gears retaining the engagement design are allowed. Dog engagement gears are not allowed.

Transmission upgrades are allowed within the same vehicle brand.

Engine components may be upgraded.

Aftermarket forced induction is allowed.

Aftermarket intercoolers are permitted. The intercooler must be fully within the bodywork.

Final drive gear ratio and differential type is unrestricted.

Drive line changes are not permitted, i.e. changing a front wheel drive car to a rear wheel or all wheel drive car.

Exhaust must exit behind the front axel.

Vehicles must be equipped with functional catalytic converter(s). All exhaust gasses must pass through the functional catalytic converter(s).

Vehicle and engine combinations where both the vehicle and the original engine installation were not equipped with a catalytic converter are exempt from the catalytic converter requirement.

The catalytic converters and all exhaust components must be completely within the bodywork of the vehicle. Exhaust “tips” may extend no more than 3” beyond the rear bodywork.

Unleaded fuel must be utilized. Leaded fuel is strictly prohibited.

ECU may be reprogrammed or replaced with an aftermarket ECU or piggyback unit.

Radiator may be replaced with an alternate radiator mounted as close as practical to the OE location.

Race Class is designed for all out Time Attack race prepared vehicles and “super car” exotics(e.g. Corvette Z06, Porsche 997 Turbo and Nissan R35 GT-R).

The rules in this section apply only to the Race Class.

Engine and Drive Train:

All cars must have four wheels with the steering acting on the front wheels only.

Drive line changes are unrestricted. It is legal to change the drive wheel configuration. The vehicle would then compete in the drive wheel configuration class that the finished vehicle is now eligible for.

Differentials are unrestricted.

Transmission type is unrestricted.

Exhaust outlet location is unrestricted.

Cooling system is unrestricted.

$175 is the entry fee per race, unless it has changed since last year.

Your carbon fiber front fenders disqualify you for street tire class

EDIT: jaykay... i read it wrong haha. you're good. just need to route your ewg dump into your dp or a separate cat on it. 140 tread wear tires with 255 max width, and 3.5" ground clearance.
