Post Mandatory South East Region Subaru Club Meeting 11:00 AM Saturday, May 19th

Attention Subaru Savvy South Easterners!
MANDATORY, yes, I said MANDATORY Meeting at Kelly Cadillac/Subaru in Chattanooga, TN on Saturday May 19th, 11:00AM.

There will be a tentative i-club meeting for all strongly interested participants.

If we do not get this ball rolling Subaru is going to back out from further assisting us in forming a club. All support will cease.
We don't want this. This IS our LAST chance.
We must be successful.

Please contact Alfred Odister at aodister@kellycars.com, (Alfred can also be reached at the dealership at 1 (800) 242-1562) .
or contact myself, Amanda Haines at Amanda.Haines@PureSafety.Com. (615) 367-4404, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM, my mobile is (615) 364-6422.

MUST REPLY NO LATER THAN TUESDAY, MAY 15TH.
Even if you are unable to come, you still must let me know. In the future we may be able to have meetings or activities in other areas of the region. This we will discuss at the meeting as well.

To give you an idea of the meeting's agenda...I would like to discuss NOPI with you and how to coordinate the groups trip to the event later this summer. Here is a large event that is great to market ourselves at and grow to add new sponsorship and business contacts. We need to come up with a club logo and mission as well. Any ideas you would like to add are greatly appreciated if you would like to discuss them before the meeting, too, just call me or write.

Do not worry if you do not have any modifications on your vehicle, or even if you don't have a vehicle. Let's get this club going first. We have information to give you, and want to find out everyone's own personal mechanical and artistic talents. And also what direction or goals you have for your car. We will discuss as a group the direction of the club based on interest and input.

I am in Nashville, if you are in Nashville, TN as well, and would like to assist me or be a representative of your area, please contact me or Alfred. We need people who can get this off the ground. Our club could be so grand, I've seen it done before.

We need to band together, it's hard to find others like ourselves. Let's stand out and be different.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all, remember to reply and let me know if you are committing to this as I am.

Convince me you want this as badly as I do.
Show me what you've got

Thank you for your attention,

Amanda

Sound like a great idea! A unified SE region ... interesting. IMHO, to have real influence, for example on SOA, we need to have a national coalition. BUT, this is a start.

Well, Ms. Vixen (Amanda), if I can round a few people together (hopefully one w/ softer suspension), we can carpool to Chattanooga.

I will, of course, be there. I just wanted to chime in that the more participation we have at this meeting, the more SOA will do for us. I totally understand that not everyone can make the trip up to Chattanooga. What you do need to do though is appoint a local person who will be able to make the trip up. And tell that person all your desires for the club. That way, you can still be heard. Thanks for everything so far...this is gonna be great!

Sadly, I won't be able to attend. That is the day of the Big Kahuna AMA Superbike races. Been planning on this for a year now...

Next meeting for sure.

I cannot make it as I do not have the money for gas to drive that distance.

Unless somebody buys my laptop which for sale in the classifieds.

I may try to make the sand hills rally since I can get there and back on two tanks of gas.

I want to support this SE region thing but I am broke!

I'm pretty sure I can go.

Atl guys, we need to get together to see how everyone's getting there. I think the Subaru train would be cool, turn a lot of heads. But carpooling would be more practical. I'll drive. We may only need 1 or 2 cars.

Impreza Vixen? I had planned to be at the hill climb, since Jerry's running and my club is hosting it. I'll see if I can make a trip over for this!

No offense, but this seems rather poorly put together. The Sandblast and the Beech Mountain event are some pretty big motorsports events, not to mention the other smaller clubs events, the run at VIR, and etc. Why would the dealership threaten to "cancel support" for the event after they planned it on such a big weekend? If they do back out, I am sure that SOA will listen to the #1 Subie dealer in the Southeast US (that is us.)

Sorry if I step on anybody's toes with this post, but SOA is stepping WAY up to sponsor the Beech Mountain Hillclimb event with us that weekend and is trying to get us to capture as many Subaru supporters as possible. (7 regional reps will be there to see it as well) I doubt that they would abandon all hope unless they thought that nothing was being done about it.
