Hey guys I got a question to ask. I have a 2006 STI and I just have swift lowering springs. I plan on getting the XXR 527 size 18x8.75 +35mm what tires do you guys recommend that I get so I won't rub or anything. I have never bought rims before.

I would go with a 235/40 or even a 245/40. You should be fine with that as longs as your springs don't have you too low which I'm assuming they don't.

Probably will rub a tiny bit with 235/40's but nothing too bad

I was just about to ask you all about 215/40s.. now i got the answer. haha.

i have a set of those sitting on my mazdaspeed 3 wheels(they were going on my protege) but id rather put tires on my XXRs and install them on my STi

i went 225/40's on my first set and I'm so glad I went 215/40's this time..

yea it does make it different, but I won't be going with a normal color either way. Just not liking the way the green flows with my car. Plus the paints already chipping around the hub area, cheap paint ugh

I didn't expect much from them though, these really are the least expensive decent wheels on the market, so I figured paint quality would lack.

I'm looking at getting a set of the 527 in 18x8.75 +35 in hyper silver. Where is the best place to buy from that has that size and color? I can't find them anywhere. Also anyone have any trouble with these wheels? I have a black 06 Wrx and these fit exactly what I'm looking for. I just wanted to get anyone's opinion before I buy. Oh and yes I have looked through the whole thread. Just trying to get any last minute advice

This.. I take extra care when removing my wheels, but it looks like I use a hammer to take my lugs off :/
