People who ordered through NLmotoring.......

Was your shipping included in the price of the wheels? My total came to $459 which is $41 less than the next cheapest price online. I'm going with the 527's in 17x8.25 +25's. Am I the only one here planning to run this size? All I see is people running 18's and I have never been keen on large wheels so i choose 17's. I looked through every single page in this thread for a photo example of this exact size on a bugeye and found nothing. Anyone with a photo of any kind with this setup, can you post up for me please? My tire choices are 215/45 and 225/45,what do you guys think I should go with? I am only on STI pinks right now so i think I would need a 45 sidewall so i won't have to much wheelwell gap until I get coilovers. Oh!! Before I forget,Anyone running without the hubcentric rings,or are they a must have?

Ok here we go....

1) NLMotoring is great and they have a shipping price calculator thingy after you add the wheels to your cart. But mostly, they have the best prices

2) I haven't seen any that size that I'm aware of

3) 225/45 but that's a lot of tire

4) hubcentric rings are $8 shipped. Buy them

5) as stated, please split up the points of your post next time to make it easier for us to help

I apologise as I was in a hurry to get the questions up. I guess I have to fool with the shipping calculator again. For some reason I could not get shipping to add to the total so I assumed it was already included.

In terms of the two tire sizes that I listed will the sidewalls have any stretch to them in the 225/45 on that size wheel? I want a small amount of stretch, not something that will have me rolling on the sidewals through turns.

It might be included. I don't really remember exactly how they do that. As far as the tires, I say go with a 225/40 and have no stretch and a decent sidewall

EDIT: never mind the 45 series looks good. But: www.willtheyfit.com is your best friend right now

Speaking of hub centric rings... so we need them because our bore is off? Or is it just easier to mount the wheels when they are 9" wide.. I don't have them but IV never had any issues either

I guess I could always grab a set of 56.1-73.1 just because

So, how are your XXRs holding up? I've had my 522s for about a year and they are still awesome

From my understanding it just makes sure the wheels are centered perfectly on the hub. Sometimes they reduce vibration but for $8 just go for them haha

Rings aren't necessary with tuner style lugs that have a 60 deg. seat face. Mount wheels and thread lugs onto the studs while the wheel is off the ground. As the lugs tighten down, they center the wheel perfectly on the studs, which also makes them perfectly centered on the hub.
