Default xxr 522 vs 527 fitment on 05 wrx

I have a 05 wrx lowered on Tein H springs (1.1. front, .7 back) am looking to purchase a pair of either xxr 522's or 527... I like the 527 better but they are .25 wider at 18 x 8.75.(+35)... The 522's are 18 x 8.5. (+48). I already have 225x40x18 tires already for the rims and I understand the closer the offset to stock is best (+55). I want to get one of these rims but don't want to have to roll my fenders or worry about rubbing 24-7. Will stretching the tire on these wider rims help fit in the wheel well better and am i going to be F'd if people sit in the back seat?

well if you dont want to touch your fenders at all, the +48 will be for you. there is no way to have gangstar wheels and no issues, unfortunately. As for the tires that size looks okay, and yes you can stretch a tire to help with rubbing but if your not low enough, (which is sounds like your not) stretching a tire will look horrid. thats just my .02cents

They faded a ton in only a few months. I sold them because I was so unhappy. If I get something powdercoated, I'm gonna do it to the set I've wanted forever, NT03s

Needs to be a little lower in the front and needs some more camber up there. Looks awkward

Good news, I got my 17x8.25 +35 530's last night and test fitted them over the GD STI Brembo's this morning. Looks like I have equal or better clearance then the stock BBS wheels.

Also realized I'm going to need new lugs, my Ray's are too fat. Any suggestions on what lugs to run? (betting this already exists in the previous 175 pages of this thread).
