How much of a difference does +25 vs +35 make? i know theres a lot of graphs and charts but if someone could dumb it WAY down that'd be awesome. I read through EVERY page of this thread. really looking for the 18x8.75 +whatever suggest offset for a 2004 wrx wagon (sedan fenders). sorry for the noob question. thanks!

+25 is more aggressive and will poke more then the +35 and also +25 has more concave.

The offset on these wheels does not determine the concaveness.

Let me rephrase, it does not on the 527's or 530's. That came from NL Motoring when I e-mailed them awhile back.

They don't make them in +33 afaik. And the sizing makes a difference but the offset does not. Please, before you make a definite statement, make sure you're right as to keep confusion down. Thanks.

*this post applies to models 527 and 530 only.

Ah, there you are. I knew that you had told me that also, just couldn't find it. He got that +33 from NL Motoring's website. I seen that the other day on there.

Yeah, I assume at some point & time they went to the +33 instead of the +35. Thanks for the back up on the 527's & 530's.

It's all good haha. I used to be all hip and up to date on these things. But I've moved on since I got my truck. I actually still have my 527's believe it or not.

Sorry for asking a question that you guys have probably answered before, but I've searched for quite a while without the definite answer I'm looking for.

I've recently purchased a 2010 hatch 2.5i sport. I'm looking to purchase a set of XXR 527 in 17x8.25" +35.

Will these fit on a stock suspension without any fender modification? What tire size would be best for this setup?

Any pics would be great as well

Sorry for the newb question but I searched the forums, as well as the XXR THREAD, and the 17" 2.5i thread but have had no luck

Thanks.

No worries man. The +33 is somewhat new, they were +35 & that's why yours are more concave cause of 9.75 width. I wasn't trying to be a jerk, just trying to help out.
