Default RR Evo X and SSM '11 WRX Shoot

Earlier in the week it was snowing and 15 degrees. Yesterday was almost 70. Clearly a wash and shoot was in order.

The WRX (only a month old) got some paint protection from Blackfire Diamond Sealant and P21S carnauba wax. Looks and feels great.

This was an interesting shot murdered by the sun.

Nice looking car. Not too big of a fan of the pictures. The sun washes out a lot of the body lines on the car.

Way too much angle.

But nice cars. WRX is calling for some overlays.

LOL @ every post w/ a comment about angles or the sun. (There's only two pics w/ a funky angle too. The others were how the cars were sitting.)

Just enjoy the new hatch and a clean X

No overlays for the SSM, think that's the only color you can get away w/ them as-is.

Yeah it looks sick as is, but I''m just saying overlays will make the taillights "pop" more. Just my opinion.

^ Hm. Are you talking about the camera angle OR the angle of the cars....or both. Geez. Who knew this was a photography thread. :sigh:

Either way. No more negative pic comments

The angles all look fine to me. Good composition as well. It's always nice to see some well thought out shots.

However, next time I'd suggest using a camera phone, preface your post with "Sorry for the ****ty iphone pics" and no one will have a problem with them.

People suck.

What part of Tennessee are you in? I'm from around Philly but I'm in school down here in TN right now.

Are the wheels on the WRX stock? In other pictures I've seen they were more straight silver and not as gunmetal-ish. Looks like an awesome car though! I just ordered a SSM WRX 5dr on Monday.

^ Sweet, hope yours doesn't take as long as mine to come in. I waited 3+ months. The OE wheels are pretty dark. I wouldn't say silver at all. They're a true gunmetal or gray.

That's good to hear, because I like it a lot better. I guess maybe some of the images I found are just renderings or weird lighting (like this). Thanks for the info!
