Default How much car is worth with blown engine?

Hey guys, im most likely just gonna try and sell my 05 wrb wagon with a blown engine due to the repairs being too much. Is there anyway to tell how much it would be worth as the shell with everything including even the blown engine? I tried searching but cant find anything. Please help this sucks but it needs to happen. Thanks.

$1.00 & a fine tip Bic pen ... roughly 1/3 ink remaining

but on a serious note... there are WAY too many factors in the equation to give you an accurate judgment through the interwebz

$4k is reasonable if the body is nice.

[(Price of unbroken car) - (Price of engine fix )] * .9 = value
.9 because of hassle + buyer uncertainty

And thats best case

Yeah we can give you a window of what it may be worth but whats the condition? Salvage title? Hows the glass? How many miles?

You should also expect that it will take a long time to sell. There just aren't many people looking for cars with blown engines and anyone who is looking will be expecting a really good deal to make it worth their while.

Are you going to buy another car to replace it? Have you looked at the 'big picture' cost of different options?
