Quite a few WRX folk in the area and a couple of turbocharged and or nitrous assisted RS's. Haven't seen much of an enthusiast presence from any Springs Outbackers.

We also are lucky enough to have one of the better tuning shops. Suby Sports will take care of you... period. Let us know when you get here.

advise: don't smoke too much weed, party hard, don't let the profs know you're smarter than they are (they don't like that)

just cuz im from eugene dosnt mean im into those funny cigaretts and its not one of those whale of a SUV legacy outback. Its the imprezza type so it dosnt have the .3 L extra that 2.5s have, but damn, in a rallycross you never get out of second gear anways;-) (at leats not the ones up here)

Yeah, we have Suby activity here in C/S.

Drac9 and I are the only turbo non-wrx guys, Bratmantlz is ZEX powered, the rest of them are WRX weenies

Suby Sports 708 Nichols 719-630-SUBY will take care of you. We can even turbo you asap! At this altitude you'll need it

how much/hard would it cost to slap a turbo in there? im not all that wrench friendly yet (taking the silencer out took me 2 attempts). Putting in a whiteline swaybar and endlinks when i get back from my vacation but thats the extent of my wrenchiness. How are they in terms of reliability (the turbo, not the swaybar)? are there constant problems etc? and how much of a power gain are we talking here

Kit goes in in 1-2 days, not too hard except the oil pan is the hardest part. See the instructions at http://www.imprezars.com/images/turb...rboinstall.pdf or at http://www.imprezars.com/images/turb...rboinstall.doc

This kit makes 202hp at the wheels, vs 98 at the wheels for stock RS at this 6,000 foot elevation, see www.imprezars.com/turbosale.htm

Keep boost down to the base 6 psi and it should be pretty reliable.

Well Larry. Went to do that testing for you. That gtech didn't work for crap for me. I tried it three times and it screwed up every time. Oh, and I need a clutch now. Stock Clutch + Boost= BAD slipping. Well, guess I know what to spend money on next. Clutch is holding ok out of boost, sucks in boost.

I know how to work the gtech - lemme meet with you, gently get it up to 60mph to spare the clutch, so I can slam the brakes and see how fast it goes 60 - 0 is all... We can test the 0 - 60 with the turbo kit after you get a clutch.

I left today for work with your phone number in my other pants pocket. Sorry I didn't call.

No big deal. I wont be able to meet today at lunch. I have to run to the bank. We can get together this weekend to try it again. Everytime I stopped it would just keep counting down feet. Even after I was totally stopped. It did it 3 times. I was getting pissed, so I gave up and went home.
