Default C Money's Phantom of the Opera *FINISHED*

This is a story about my WRX It started back in march when i bought her completely stock and i've kept her completely stock for the most part other than an intake and CBE but now i'm going to make her look beautiful due to the fact that i hate silver cars and i have easy access to everything for painting. So this thread will show you the process of me prepping painting and putting it all back together. im painting her the same color as my dads 98 mustang cobra which is ebony black but im putting a flat matte clear on . also will be painting the exhaust black, the wheels black (winter wheels), tinting the windows 5% all around, black out the headlights, tint the tail lights 35% smoked and lowering her a bit. also converting the front end to the sedan wider setup. (i know i should do the rear quarters as well but i dont plan on that for a year or so when i get a STI to swap in) also would like some suggestions for summer wheels im lookin for 17x10's or even 18x10's oh and one more thing if anyone has some STI front bumper splitters i'd really love to buy them anyways enough talk heres the pics of how it sits now and what i've got done tonight...

17x10's will be ridiculous to fit on a wagon unless your tires are 205's hahaha. IMO do 9'' or less

disregard those photos that clear was bad let me explain

from the beginning
1. prepped car
2. sprayed basecoat
3. sprayed flat clear
4. there was not enough coverage on the basecoat
5. sanded whole car again
6. sprayed basecoat again
7. sprayed clear again
8. clear coat was expired (thanks NAPA)
9. NAPA says sorry and gives me a single stage flat black paint
10. sprayed single stage
11. didn't turn out as flat as i wanted
12. went to NAPA complained and got all my money back
13. The end the final pics that i just posted are what it looks like now

theres your 13 steps to a single stage paint job haha oh well it doesn't look horrendous and remember i still have to get wheels and lower it yada yada yada. feel free to love or hate.

I think it looks pretty good all though I didn't like flat black back in 2006 when it was everywhere at the SEMA show.

The pictures do look good to me though.

It looks good. Your winter wheels need more of a flourescent pc to them. I dig it. good job.
