Ordered mine yesterday. Spoke with Jason, very informative and helpful. Not in a big hurry to get mine though, car is "ordered" so who knows if I'll get it anytime soon. I'm waiting for the staggered 3.5 inch tips, flush. They look mean. Great company to buy from.

how many exhaust hangers are you guys buying when you purchase?

edit: also, does anyone have a picture of the 3.5 single wall non staggered on their car? I am interested in picking this combo up but hoping that the fact its non staggered doesn't clash with the lines of the valence.

^^^ thanks....i saw the pics on their FB...i like the look of the single wall and dont think if you the flush with valence throws off the flow of the bumper too much, might be ordering soon, if its loud enough.

Just got the axle-back setup today. Legit! I'll do my best to give my two cents, even though it's been done a thousand times, but maybe someone will read it and understand better....or be too lazy to browse the other pages.

My car is a 2011 WRX sedan, supporting mods include suspension work and a tune, but NO other inhale/exhale pieces besides the Nameless Axle-back itself.

The drone between 1.2k and 1.9k is completely gone (I believe it mostly plagues the 2011 WRX sedan). That's most evident when you're in the parking structure or while the car is warming up. My musicians take on this: there is no longer a chamber for the gases to pass through, avoiding vibration and reverberation.

HAVING SAID THAT, while the drone is gone and doesn't bother the cabin anymore, the sound that does get louder is the rumble itself. It can be loud under heavy load, and I mean specific situations, such as: uphill and probably a gear too high, etc... you know the like. Sexy as hell when cruising. It should be noted that it's very easy to get used to how pedal input during cruising effects the tone of the exhaust and the volume level, as well. Once you get the hang of it, that's when it's as quiet as stock. Catch 22, though.. the world isn't flat and we're not always going one speed, so take that with a grain of salt.

Unexpected side effects ( or benefits? ) : it revs a bit smoother in first/second gear, certainly a welcome characteristic. Oh, and it passed the girlfriend test

Put mine on last night. Drive to work today was nice . Like everyones said before, exhaust is a tad loud when your going through the gears but when your at steady highway speeds or idle you barely can tell its there.

does anyone have 3.5" tips non staggered flush with the valence...I want 3.5" tips and thinking about going with the non-staggered to save money as well as how long of a wait I will have (staggered is sold out currently). I just dont want the non staggered to clash too much with the angled lines of the valence.

I guess i could always do halfway between stock and flush?

I might have missed this, but I'm looking for a sound clip of this axle back on a 2010 WRX (single exit). Does one exist?

I installed the axle back (for the sedan) without lifting the vehicle in any way. I do have long arms so reaching the bolts was easy. I found it more difficult to remove the hangers, and that's relatively simple.

Like he said, could do it on the ground at stock height. I chose to use my jack and some stands, took almost as long to jack the car up and secure the stands than it did to install the axle back.

If you aren't slammed on coils I see no reason to jack up your car. If you just take a look at the back of your car you'll see how much room you have to work with. Just lay on your back and unbolt those 4 bolts and pull your old mufflers off. It really takes less than 15 mins..

Sounds amazing, install was super easy, I did it outside in about 30 minutes. Biggest thing you will need is WD40 for all the hangers otherwise be prepared for some sheet metal cuts. You will see what im talking about once your under there.

However....I got into an accident 2 days after installing and my car is out of commission until further notice. Of course its beautiful sunny and in the 60's all week and Im stuck in a Dodge Avenger rental.
