Default 01 OBW wont start, really odd

Ok so the wifes 01 Outback wont start. She put gas in on tuesday, drove it tues, wed, thurs, Friday morning it just would crank no start.
I have tried the following,...
Swaped out fuel filter
Checked fuel pressure coming out of fuel filter-ok
Swapped out fuel pump ( was my old working pumping from my wrx that I took out when I did my turbo swap )

It will sputter itself out quickly if it does try to turn over
If I spray MAF cleaner in the Butterfly and then turn the car over it runs, although rough for 3-5 seconds.

There are no CELS

I do not believe it is Fuel or line freeze up because I have pressure post fuel filter, although it is not as strong as the pressure from my buddies 98 LGT....

reset the security system no love

thoughts?

spark? crank/cam sensor are the injectors getting a singnal
