Default 2011 WRX Suspension Upgrade

I'm not looking for a complete overhaul or to try and convert it into an STI, just looking to add a few key parts that will help during cornering.

Right now I have the SPT lower chassis brace and SPT front strut bar on my list, but I just want to get some insight if these are worth it.

Upgraded bushings are probably also in order, anything else I should look into?

Yes nix the lower chassis brace and strut bar in favor of:

Tires
Alignment
Sway bars
Bushings
Dampers (Konis or GTWORX bilsteins...the latter will give you great camber up front or the former in 08-10 housings!)
Springs (RCE Yellows)

Thanks. Looking at sway bars I see most listed as for 08+ WRX or STI, but with the increased width in body and track of the 11s will a sway bar from an 09 or 10 WRX still fit the 11?

08-11 STI AND WRX rear bars are the same. They are all interchangeable.

For your 11 WRX, if you are looking for used stuff, you can get anything that fits 08-11 STIs. The 08-10 WRX front bars will not work for the 11 WRX due to the different LCAs.

Also, to expand on the bushings part, look at rear subframe inserts from Whiteline, they really help firm up the rear and keep it from moving around in corners.

I was thinking about getting this kit, but is it really worth that much?

I haven't seen those before, but those fully replace all rubber inside the subframe. This requires completely removing your whole subframe and suspension and rear diff to install plus a big *ss press.

The ones that rexassian was talking about fill in the rubber voids ie:

I can't even begin to imagine the necessary adapter needed to press out those huge bushings!

I usually use a socket and a hydraulic press to change out bushings. The front ALK bushings were a giant PIA using a giant socket.
