No idea what that means....
Is it still filled with factory oil or has it been changed already?
This is common when the wrong heavier weight or conventional oil is used.
Requires: 0w20 Full Synthetic

Still has factory oil. Less than 100 miles on the odometer.

I have a small two inch crack on my lip as well and I was quoted 600 to fix the bumper, not replace it. Damn expensive Canadian labour

For the stocker, 8Khz is the -6dB point. Keep in mind it's more of a midrange than a true tweeter. My guess is they chose such a low capacitance to match the woofer's sensitivity.

So I have a 2012 sport premium impreza and I have a question about my drivers seat. I was driving one day and started to accelerate and all of a sudden I feel the seat move back slightly and it made a sound like it was clicking into place after being adjusted. It feels more like the lumbar support inside the seat broke off and now I don't feel like there is any support in the seat.

When I sit in the passenger seat to compare, there is a significant difference in the amount of lumbar support so my thoughts are that it broke off. I am 185 pounds so it's not like I should have damaged it but I was wondering if this a problem someone else has had and if the warranty will cover it.

Sat input sounds different than bt or radio, it is somewhere in the middle of the 2. There is a definite lack of bass and the highs are a little harsh.

Going to be trying new speakers for sure now in the future, maybe next month

There was the same complaint from a WRX or STI owner recently on the General Forum, bring it to the dealer for warranty repair.

If your seat is broken it should not be a problem with vetting it fixed under warranty.

When do you think they aligned the vehicle? at the factory before the suspension settled? Wonder if this could be causing 1-2 mpg loss if the vehicle is out of spec from dealer.

My vehicle has an 01/12 build date I bought it 04/12

I'm thinking about putting the Subaru body side molding on my 2012 Impreza and doing it myself. Has anyone done this? Any things to watch for when doing it?

Make sure its in a straight line. Some thin line striping tape should work as a guide. then attach.

When you buy the kit, it comes with templates, huge thick tag board with instructions and marker lines...you can't mess it up. I will be doing it on both my cars when they come in.

OK, in searching, and the nearly 12,300 posts in this thread, and not having any luck after over an hour.....any information on the sway bar and suspension on the new body style Impreza? Are they the same dimensions as the last gen model? I have both a 2012 Impreza 2.0i and a 2012 WRX coming in next month, and I have coil overs and a 25mm sway for the WRX, but want to put the stock wrx suspension on the Impreza to make it more responsive and sporty, along with the 19mm STi sway bar I had on my 2011 Outback. Has anyone seen a comparison of those parts? If not, I will figure it out by June 18th when the cars both come in . I'm just excited and and trying to figure it out now. Sorry if this has been covered, but I did search, and there are an awful lot of posts and replies in this thread...an nothing specific that I could see about the suspension and sway bars. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

only thing I could find is this quick vid, poor quality, but in pause mode, the sway looks to be the same.

Pros- it basically makes your cargo tray longer with the protection.

I don't see any cons, it was pretty dang cheap, like 40'ish bucks. I got it to protect my rear seats when I put my bikes in there.

The only thing that is known is the 08+ STI Rear Sway Bar will fit in the new Impreza. It is a direct fitment.

While cars will settle over time, I'm not sure that it would cause too much issues with regards to the alignment. The only problem you could potentially have is the fact you modified the rear suspension, that in itself could change your alignment numbers.

Do you have a set of toe plates? That will allow you to check your total toe. Positive or negative toe can affect your fuel efficiency, camber has less of an effect on MPG and more on tire wear.

Thanks. Once both cars are here, and I put the coil overs on the WRX, I will then try to fit the WRX suspension into the 2.0. I'll keep you all up dated. Gonna toss the 19mm STi sway I have on the 2.0 and go from there.

First, it doesn't make sense to me to get the seat back without getting the companion trunk floor protector.

No cons, other than the plastic doesn't look quite as nice as the carpeting. I have hauled buckets of compost and don't worry if I scuff it a bit. Also, clean up with a shop vac is very fast.

I'll be hauling landscaping bricks this fall, I wouldn't want to worry about trashing the carpeting doing this.

It comes with cardboard template for each door to line it up. However, if you want to get it really right, I suggest a four foot (or longer) straightedge (I used a four foot metal ruler) to make sure the top edges of each door template are perfectly aligned.

Just triple-check your alignment and you'll be fine. The moldings just stick on.

No i dont have a set of toe plates. I dont believe there to be an issue with the toes in the rear only with the front since i adjusted the strut angle with adjusting the rear.

If i modified it closer to where it was before it settled then i dont believe i have done anything wrong. If you could give me measurements of your non settled car i could get an idea of how much it has changed with my modifications. care to help out? Then again your alignment could be more off than mine if it has settled.

Are you looking for the rear camber angle?
