I purchased the Husky all weather-beater floor mats. they fit about 8 out of 10. they dont fit exactly tight and snug. They aren't super high quality material. they are not like the all-weather mats of OEM. they are thin material. they are like the same material used in sport water bottles but thicker. you'll see one in my pictures. but for 91 dollars they are great

Just curious, is there any reason you chose these mats versus the OEM all weather mats which cost 1/3 less?

The OEM all weather mats do not offer nearly the coverage that the Husky or Weathertech offer. Do you see how the material carries on upward the area right of the drivers foot and below the gas pedal?

yep! i actually have the OEM mats and i considered this to be an upgrade. The OEM may be more durable but there is not nearly as much protection as the husky/weathertech mats. they oem mats definitely does not protect under the gas pedal. also, i feel more comfortable with the husky if i were to carry ppl with muddy feet. sure the oem does offer protection but what annoyed me was the fact that the crap would go on the sides of the oem weather mats. but these, they actually form about a 1.5 or 2 inch raised border to help seal off the under carpets.

actually, i bought them for 45$ from the dealer. i wish i could sell them for 20dollars but shipping would be just as much for new ones.

After installing the weathertech digifit mats, I simply gave the OEM mats to my salesman and requested that he throw them in for the next customer that absolutely did not want to pay for them.

possible to use the oem one over the husky ones? since i dont want to throw out my oem if i buy these husky ones.

Also, is the fit of the husky the same as weathertech?

driver side no, any other side sure. why not on the driver side has to do with the pins. there isn't enough pins to safely hold the mat in place. nothing is really holding the OEM mats inplace if you put those on top. the spiky bottom isn't going to do much on the husky surface. yea, i feel pretty wasteful for buying these but, they are an upgrade.

if i only saw another 2012 impreza around with them because i definitely wouldn't buy both so the answer is i dont know.

cool thanks for the input. hmm ill have to think about dropping 90 something bucks on these since i dont live in the east where there is snow. it rarely rains here in CA so i think the oem might do well. only time i can think of the husky being handy is boarding trips etc. maybe later down the road then.

thanks for the insight good sir!

I'm looking at getting a 2013 Sport Premium next spring, but I really want a moonroof. It seems that it's only offered on the Sport Limited model, however I thought I saw a few people here getting the moonroof on the premium models as well. Is this only true for the non-Sport trim?

My mistake I should of read the post first.

I just assumed all limited impreza's came with chrome and the alloy wheels.

I have a 2.0i Premium on order with the moonroof. The moonroof is optional on the 2.0i premium, limited, and sport limited ONLY. You cannot get a moonroof (from the factory) on the base model or Sport Premium. I would have LOVED to buy a Sport Premium with a moonroof, but I have to have my stick, so Premium it was for me.

I have a Sport Premium with a stick (a manual tranny is a prerequisite for me, too). But I have no moon roof.

I was thinking about cutting a hole for the gas latch access but I did a lift test and it was hardly an effort. The husky's fit tightly and has great coverage at half the price of the weathertech's ! More money saved for other mods. I will also put some other all weather mats on top of the husky's for extra added protection like I did with my Honda accord. When I bought the accord in 08 I bought weathertech's and my carpets look new when I sold it. In fact people asked me if I had re-upholstered my car. I had the same combo weathertech's with all weather mats on top. Here some pics I took:

Have you experienced any issues with placing the OEM weather mats over your Husky's; since, there are no pins to hold them down and prevent them from sliding around. Would it cause your gas pedal or brake pedal to stick or anything of that sort? Just wondering so you own the WeatherTech's, Husky's, and OEM all weather mats?

Do you think more floor mats=better?

You probably won't have an issue with the mat sliding around much -- but the purpose of the all weather mats is to protect the carpet, not protect other rubber mats.

The OEM mats have higher raised sections. When I had weathertech mats in my prius, the back of my pants would get into the water from melted snow. But, the OEM mats don't cover under the accelerator or up the sides any. Seems to me the perfect mat would be the weathertech or husky mats with deeper grooves, but failing that, using both (if it isn't too thick) doesn't seem like a terrible idea.

Using "double mats" is not a good idea. For both the Subaru OEM All Weather Mats and the WeatherTech Digifit ones, there is an expectant warning not to do this. Remember the Toyota "Stuck Pedal" fiasco? Use "double mats" at your own risk....

UPDATE 10/26/12--

Hi everyone. Haven't been on here since after a few weeks of delivery back in December 2011. Reference: located in PA, 4 door, DGM, CVT, cloth, Nav, cold weather.

- About 13K miles on the odometer
- Been through two oil changes
- Mileage is been a little less than advertised; i only get 36 MPG if i drive like 65-70 on the highway. I get about 29 MPG driving 16 miles one way to and from work
- No motor problems (knock on wood)
- No suspension problems (knock on wood)
- The NAV is a PITA sometimes (especially with the security feature that doesn't let you play with it while in motion)
- A few paint chips in the hood have already started to rust (a trending problem from what i'm reading)
- Gotten used to the CVT 'whine'; additionally, not a fan of the CVT appearing to downshift when going down hills to maintain a consistent speed vs. speeding up based on gravity
- Loving the heated cloth seats as they heat up very quickly
- The upgraded Tweeters from Kicker have been pleasant now that they're broken in
- Subaru rubber floor mats and trunk mats have held up very nicely
- Really hate how i have to hit the key fob once for driver door, and twice for the rest of the doors, and another for the trunk. The beeping each time is really annoying

So yeah, how is everyone? (not reading through hundreds of previous pages).

Snacky, my car is similar to yours except it's a 5 speed.

2 oil changes so far, minimal consumption.

31 MPG is typical for commuting if I don't need the A/C.

40+ MPG is not unusual for longer trips at 55-60 MPH.

I also love the seats. I usually keep them on low. If I do use high, I switch to low before the thermal cutoff kicks in. I look forward to seeing how the heated windshield and mirrors do in a snowstorm.

I changed the speakers out to aftermarket components. You'll see a big difference by replacing the woofers too.

The beeping on lock/unlock can be disabled. I've done it. Check your manual.
