I literally go back on forth on this everyday. Anyone that has pics of their grills this would be a great to share and help me make a final decision

Canadien models don't have TPMS.
I paid 950$ (canadien). Tires are almost brand new and wheels are 9.8/10.
Here, tires are more expensive than in the U.S. (don't know why).
Canada : Continental Extrem Contact DW 225-45-17 : $200.00 each.
USA : Same tire, same size : $135.00

1.00$ Can = 0.993838$ US

Check my satellite install thread, I have pretty good pictures of the process.

All plug and play, only thing that doesn't work is speed volume, but I don't care about that. The radio/entire unit's sound quality is night and day compared to the standard unit.

With the 225s do you have to fender roll? I'm looking at getting some drift tek wheels one 225s but don't want to have to mod any of the exterior.

These fender wells seem pretty large. Even after springs, I couldn't see needing to roll anything. I had 225/40's on some 18x7.5's on my 11 Si lowered and was fine. Once I get my 18x8's in I'm gonna test fit and see about tire spacing. Doing the H&R's next month.

Sweet sounds awesome I just hate the hubcaps lol I got my 2.0i 2 days ago love the car it's just the **** in my eyes but them wheels though.... Awesome the H&R springs are my next upgrade after the wheels but still haven't seen anyone on here that have installed I really want to see it done.

I'm likely doing them next month. Supposedly someone makes coils for us now (BG maybe?), getting info on that.. I plan on being the first lowered 12/13. lol

Add a rear sway bar. The base model 2.0i has the mounting points for 'em, but none of the hardware. You could install a stock swaybar, but the other thicker swaybars like the STi one fit just fine too.

I've got a base model that I've been working off. '11 WRX wheels, sway bars, K&N Filter, AppRadio, and a few other aesthetic bits make my car MINE.

What would you recommend the springs or coilovers ? I've always had a ute so not to sure on the differences.

Oh yep where can I get the sway bar from? I live in Australia.
Man if I can get a hold of the WRX wheels, Sway bar and K&N filter I guarantee I'd be even happier with my car... Just having trouble putting in blue tooth phone book numbers into the car :/ I've read the book it says what to say but it doesn't work.

I had a bit of a problem at first but you have to press the button turn the knob quite a bit more than I originally thought. After it shows the first menu, repeat the process and then I think once more...

Here's mine. It's a matter of personal preference. I couldn't stand the stock grill myself, it was the first thing I changed.

I actually prefer the "black out the grille wings" solution for the Impreza. To me, the Sport Mesh Grille is A: horribly overpriced and B: is too big/has lots of "dead space". On earlier Imprezas and the current Forester design, the Sport Mesh Grille looks neat, but I feel like it works well with that design because the grille itself is smaller. The larger grille opening on the current Impreza, Crosstrek, and soon-to-be new Forester don't look as nifty with it on there.

I blacked out my grille wings on my Impreza to see if I liked the look of the Sport Mesh Grille before I decided to purchase it. The end result had me liking the look of the blacked out wings more because it still gives that sharp dark look of the mesh grille but it still has detail/other elements to help diversify the larger space the grille takes up.

It's just personal preference, but I've put a lot of thought (perhaps too much) into why I prefer one look over the other.

FWIW, I can't stand the standard grill and I'm extremely happy with the mesh grill. I got it port installed so it wasn't that expensive. Personally I like the sleekness and simplicity of the mesh grill, I think the standard one is too busy for me
