Perhaps the fact that I do not have fogs is really changing the way the front of the car looks.
It looks decent on both cars pictured.
Only diffetences are I do not have fogs and my grill is slightly lighter. Its dgm on an obp car. I like the color contrast it matches my front plastics better. It has to be the fogs. .

I have a set of Hella Supertones waiting to be installed as well, and should look pretty good with the mesh grill

I think the sport mesh grill is way overpriced, but I do like how it looks, especially with hellas. I would buy it for about $80, but i bet scoutismo can get more for it.

I was thinking about removing the honeycomb plastic part on the stock grille and replacing it with some plastidipped local-hardware-store mesh.

In other news, i am selling my stock rsb if any base model-ers want it, pm me. Im not lookin to get rich so low-ballers welcome lol. Just lookin to get rid of it.

My solution to this problem is that I have a "subscription" to a reputable local car wash that gives me unlimited car washes (including chassis spray) for approximately $20/month. I use it several times a week.

Do you have such a service in the Harrisburg area?

Anyone have a Thule rack on the top? Looking to do a snowboard rack on the top, deciding between the Thule or the Subaru one.. Never really looked into racks before.. I have the Sport with the stock side rails.

I'm thinking about buying the spoiler to put onto my car. Has anyone in the thread installed a spoiler onto a sedan? I don't really feel comfortable drilling into my car so I guess I could ask the dealership to install. That'll cost me a ton though!

Yes, I have. They give you a big clear plastic template that you tape to the surface of the trunk lid with all the holes marked. Start with a small hole, drill that larger and then I used a step drill to open up the holes to the proper size. There are 13 holes in all. The spoiler uses press clips in some holes and nuts or screws for several others, don't recall which. Other than the idea of drilling holes in a brand new lid, it was pretty easy. You would want to have some kind of rust inhibitor to put on the bare metal edges to prevent rust. They recomend something. I had some touch up paint for something lying around. You don't see it so it would not matter what color it is. Or hit the parts store and ask for somethiing specific for that kind of stuff. There is also some sticky tape on the spoiler. It also has a third brake light. There is a connetor for it in the trunk lid.

I've really been wanting the Sport Mesh Grille, but I think the only thing that would justify the cost for me would be if Hella 500 FF lights fit in the openings. Can anyone confirm/deny if this will fit? I believe the diameter of the lights are 6 3/8".

they will fit, simply click in place and connect the wiring to however you want them to function...I wired mine to the brake lights.....minimal in the daytime, but looks great at night

There's definitely some kind of internal structure behind the mesh in the pictures. Is that part of the grille or part of the car?

The mesh grill is just mesh with a plastic surround. Afaik there isn't anything behind until you get to the support for the radiator

Thanks for that reply. Did you have much trouble swapping out the torsion bars that come with it as well?

Gearing up for tax return subi upgrades. Lets talk shifter knobs! I really like the oem momo subaru one but they are very hard to get ahold of.
The sti knob is nice but its over priced and says sti in bright red to remind me everyday that I dont own one. Yet.

I wish the mobile app had the smiley and bananas.
