When I had my Si, I went through like 10 shift knobs. Two of my favorites were a resin-ish type. They are much more mild in their heat and cold retention. I had the one Hurst classic ball and a Buddy Club.. I'd check into them.. The Hurst was ~80 and you can buy it through Summit, and the Buddy Club is eBay/other retailers and was ~50.

I may secured an oem momo subaru knob! Waiting on pics this evening. If its as nice as described youll be seeing pics of it installes soon. Im thinking it will be lonely without a jpm coachworks boot.

I was also thinking about wrapping the panels on the door cards above the armrest with some alacantara to match my boots.

negative, this isn't a good pic, maybe I will take another, but I made my own leather wrap. It is 2 layers in a baseball stitch. Works great at -20 up to 90(never saw temps higher than that)

I didn't go that far. They are leaning against the wall in the garage. The trunk pops then I lift it open. It stays up fine so I didn't bother with it. Someone here did the springs and the trunk flies open and hits the stops harder than I would want. I might put one of the bars in this coming summer if I get froggy.

This is the Subaru SPT exhaust from the 08-12 STI Hatchback, the downpipe bolts right up it is the muffler that requires some modification. I cut off all the hangers on the quad tips to start. Then I bolted up the downpipe and attached the muffler and supported it with a car jack. I got it centered where i wanted and put the hangers in and tac welded them to the muffler. Once everything is tacked up you take the muffler down and finish welding it. You will need to cut out some of the plastic underneath in order to make room for the tips. It isn't even noticeable that I cut the plastic though.

I don't have any videos of how it sounds now, I will try to get one up this week

Nice shift knob, flyboy. Did you use an awl? I plan to sew leather shifter and e-brake boots soon.

Back to shift knobs.

Just got an email stating there is in fact one left if I want it. Check it out. Worried about metal when I move to Phoenix too.. I am thinking between this and the 04 WRX OEM MOMO Subaru shift knob. Votes?
