I think I read something in this massive thread about the Cobb short shifter maintaining the position of the original shifter.

Can anyone confirm that?

Thanks.
Yes, I have it. I believe it is the only option that does that

I have a k&n filter and was wondering about the oil. I have heard about using caution when oiling the filter after cleaning because of possible MAF issues. How do you know you have used too much oil? What happens if you don't use enough?

pretty well, they are very flexible so in the winter the front 2 have seemed to warp and freeze in a bit of a curved position. I'm hoping in the next month when it starts to regularily get back into the 40's will fix that, as it only really happened once it got subzero. the back 2 flaps have shown no signs of warpage.

This is the most insane forum thread I have ever seen.

I just wanted to throw that out there.

Reverend, I'm at the same point as you with my silver Sport. Between styles. A part of me wants to go full OEM lip kit, grille, spoiler.. Another part wants to only go grille, spoiler, and Rally Armors.. Then, on the other end, I'm York between 04 STI BBS, 11-13 WRX wheels, or full aftermarket.. Gah. lol

On related test mule info, I live right by Moore Performance and they will be using my car to test fit some stuff onto for reference.. A friend of mine has a BRZ as well, so we can reference the BRZ exhaust and stock BRZ wheels as well..

It's been pretty fun seeing how both our builds are progressing. I've enjoyed tossing ideas back and forth, regardless!

Tonight, my SPT Exhaust gets to go to the weekly Subaru meet. Kind of excited to hear what folks think of it.

For sure man, I wasn't crazy about the silver at first as I really wanted black on black, but Subaru found that unnecessary. haha But I do really like what you're doing with yours, especially since it's a base!

Doesn't look like a base model anymore. I actually like how my black side mirrors look with the tint I got. I was originally bummed that they weren't body colored like the rest of the trim levels, but I like it now.

I got a base because, at the time, it's what I could afford. Got a new job and now I've got more "fun" money to drop into it. Been having a ball with this build.

Hell yeah man, nothing wrong with a base! A good friend of mine got a Civic EX while the rest of us had Si's for the same reason. But he likes it and that's what matters! I can't wait for Spring to break so I can start mine..

What's up Jersey.

And starting this Spring: Wednesday Night Biergartens in Center Square, from 6-10 PM. Sponsored by Weyerbacher.

Easton is on the up & up.

Hahaha I graduated from Lafayette in May. Didn't expect to see a conversation about Easton on here, of all places.

I'm a big fan of Weyerbacher and purple cow. Never got to the crayola factory though.

Do you work at Genesis? I was a semi-regular customer there while I was at Laf.

I actually work at rutgers univ in newark. the crayola factory is what I call a pretty cheap baby sitter. the kid goes in, you get to go drink beer and do the tour and sample whatever is brewing at weyerbacher. My sister went to college at cedar crest so I have traveled the area for many years, in fact I remember my road trips through pa in winter, that was the year alanis morisette became big along with the mid 90's grunge and etc, 2 weeks ago I actually got dragged to a natalie merchant concert in buffalo of all places. I also discovered ponderosa and their wings in reading pa and use to steal the wings with a brown paper bag I might need to make a trip on wednesday night to sample this biergarten, at least 3 to 4 weekends in the summer we grab the cooler and go down the lazy river. Last year I organized a bike tour of easton and all the historic places including lafayette I did see a few other micro breweries in town that I need to try, this biergarten might be a good excuse. If you see a modified impreza with jersey plates in catawissa, bloomsburg, scranton, north east pa, erie, or any other place that you would never normally see nj plates its probably me.

If you wouldn't mind PMing me once you install it, I'd appreciate it. Wondering whether it's worth it (I have the base as well).

*Edit: I suck at reading, just saw you got the stock size.

I was able to get endlinks and the rsb at once. It is an all stock setup. But the way guys have raved over an increase of 3mm, i cant imagine what an increase of 16mm will be. (nothing to a stock bar)

I know some of you were interested in overlays etc.. this site has a bunch of options. I'm not real into the idea but they have a good assortment.

Got pulled over and a ticket yesterday in Evesham NJ for having front windows tinted. He called my 35% "blacked out" and asked if I had documentation for them. Go fondle yourself...

I was sitting in traffic, my car is quiet as a mouse, and Im a very slow driver so its not even like he had another reason for it. I wasnt rude or anything, I was in awe the whole time I barely spoke.

I understand its illegal, but doesnt he have better things to do during rush hour?
