i subscribed to a 3 day membership about a month ago and downloaded all the stuff i could find, other than the service manual as i already have one. there is a lot of cool stuff, especially the document where they pretty much tear apart a brand new impreza to show all the new stuff

I had no issue with "mforce". But that Forza guy literally had an entire page of individual posts that could have been condensed into three well worded sentences. haha

I completely agree that I don't always have hours to browse search threads. However Forza made like 15 consecutive posts about stuff 3 pages back in this very thread. lol

Mforce was actually ordering a part and asked for help.

I was totally joking when I posted ain't nobody got time for that. Guess it wasn't the best timing. Lol.

Thanks again for your help and getting me connected with JJ. I will post pictures once I install the red strut bar. I went with red to feel like Its a racer mod lol. But at a 140hp that's about as fast as I can feel. I really do like how the sport impreza rides already and I will be sure to share my impressions. No offense taken from anyone, I just don't agree with bullying of any nature.

If you don't have time to read or search then no one has the time to give you the answer especially for questions asked 50 times or more in the same thread.

Some people work 60+ hours a week and have other things to do than browse on the computer all day though. There's a time and place for outrightly asking a question that is logical without searching for pages and pages. And what he was asking wouldn't have even been a big deal if that other guy wasn't clogging the thread at the same time.

we all work, we are not babysitters. No one wants to read 1 sentence posts which contain utter rubbish. If you don't like my opinion then tough take it up with the constitution, if you can't tell that 3 pages of annoyance from both of you guys is a bit much then you clearly do not live in reality. Let me introduce you to this awesome feature its called the ignore list. Congrats you just made the list.

Really unsure who that was directed towards, but assuming you are on a tirade against everyone on the forum, I'll assume I'm in your crosshairs. And that's fine. All I did was simply ask if anyone knows if any online retailers are currently stocking and selling springs for our cars. And if that was out of your "constitution", then I suggest getting a reality check. I'm not some snotty 16 year old. And I'd bet you aren't either. So let's act like we're adults.

haha Ok. Fair enough.

Let's go back to our regularly scheduled posting now, shall we.. lol

But yes, Scout, I got the stubby antenna from Perrin in the 2" size. Not sure if anyone on here has done it yet or not, but I figured I'd give it a go. It was ~30 shipped. I already had a budget aluminum 4" one, so I figured I'd try out the tiny guy. Pic after delivery..

Also, grabbing a set of 17x7 BBS RK's off a friend's WRX this weekend. I'll be putting my stock TPMS and Yoko's on them shortly after. They're my temporary "nice" wheels. I'll get a few pics up next week finally. Anxious to see how some RK's look on this car. They look good on the BRZ..

It was discussed before but on the topic of if not fitting. Someone in the forums ordered from Perrin and the one specified for the impreza didn't fit it, but the BRZ stubby did fit the impreza. Not sure if Perrin already corrected this problem but just giving you a heads up.

Funny I made like three or four posts tops that i was asking about a part and Then I was grouped in a lecture with another member whom I agree was a bit out of control with posting. I just happen to jump on the rear sway bar question and all hell broke loose. Oh well it's just ironic that the one who complained about it was contributing to the over posting. I guess calling people "tards" is acceptable here but asking a question that may have already been asked is breaking the constitutional laws. Wow go figure.

Hey everyone,

Does anyone have a good step by step tutorial on how to install HIDs on a 2012 Impreza?

Thanks in advance.

I suggest looking up HID installation on YouTube that's what I did. I assume your going for the plug and play and not adding the projectors? There was a member here who did the projector mod on his white impreza and did a step by step instruction and part list a few months back ( do a search on this forum). You may get a bit of flack from some members who are against HID without the projector mod. Anyway if you get stuck just Pm me and I'll be glad to help but YouTube has some great tutorials. All hid kits are pretty much the same plug and play. Good luck

Agreed. The HID mod is the same on all cars, the only difference is how hard the bulbs are to access. On these, you need to move the washer fluid reservoir on the drivers side, and remove the air scoop on the passenger side. The rest is hand squeezing. I just put Nokya yellows in for my highs, as I don't use them. But my lows will be 6000k HID's next week. Got some in last week, but one had a bad ballast. I have ZXE's in the lows at the moment. The fogs are a tad harder to access, but it makes sense after you get under the car. I have amber/yellow LED's in mine, solely for cosmetics. Good luck, but don't stress. It's not too bad. haha

But yes, I did order the BRZ antenna actually (Perrin). lol

So you guys didn't have to do any drilling on yours? I saw some videos on a 2011 WRX, and they had to drill to allow the wires through.

HIDs never should require drilling unless you're going all the way, with a retrofit, like this..

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...60&postcount=1

Otherwise, just unplug your old bulbs, take em out and swap them with the new bulbs, and wire your ballast as instructed or labeled from the manufacturer.
