Has anyone found any kind of cover for the front bumper bracket holes? Since I live in a state that doesn't require two license plates I'd like to try to cover up those two holes in the front.

Do you happen to have a link to these? I would like to find some springs that are stiffer but don't alter ride height.

No, both the H&R's and the Eibach's lower the car. But they're saying they'll "average" around 1.5 inches. That's not much. It definitely isn't going to be tucked, but it'll be clean. That's exactly what I'm going for..

But what I was saying is the H&R's claim to retain original ride quality, whilst the Eibach's say they're slightly more aggressive.

I had Eibach Sportlines on my old Cobalt SS for awhile. A little more drop than the Pro Kit, but a much more harsh ride overall. Generally the lower, stiff spring rate ones ride rough. And once your shocks start to go, it gets worse. I hope someone ends up making aftermarket shocks/struts and/or coilovers for when the stocks decide to go.

Somewhat related to our Impreza, the new XV Hybrid is coming out and it has LED taillights as well as side view mirrors with turn signals which could look great on our cars (I know the Canadian and Japanese market already have these side view mirrors but this should make it easier and cheaper to obtain.)

Are the eibach sportkit lowering springs or coil overs? I'm keen to coilover my car not springs as it always ends bad plus coilovers will give it a stiff enough feel won't it? I just want cheap enough coilovers to get shipped to Australia

This wasn't directed to you. I don't have a problem with you. Forza dude was out of control. I think he was doing it on purpose. The "ain't nobody got time for that" was directed towards who I quotes it to...jokingly of course

+1 , if you can't do a proper retrofit it not only looks awful cosmetically but blinding me is gonna make me drive even more aggressive

At first I thought the side-mirror turn signals would still remain international-release only. +1 if they get released here and we can put 'em on our Imprezas. Also completely missed those LED tail lights! I just hope they're not as blind-y as the WRX ones.

so in a nutshell we are all gonna make the crosstrek hybrid our bitch, now if the crosstrek has the auto dimming sideview mirrros like the new forester then I will definitely do this mode. haven't seen a new forester up close to even check to see if side view mirrors are the same dimensions as ours.

Hope you got the BRZ one too. I'm the one who had all the issues with the Perrin short antenna. They've changed the site so the antenna for Impreza says compatible for 2008-2011 Impreza. But the BRZ one doesn't list the 2012+ Impreza or XV under compatible models. @averagewhiteboy if the one you ordered came in 2" 3" & 4" it's the wrong one. If you only had 2" & 4" to pick from should be the correct BRZ one. Their customer service will send you the correct one at no charge if you got the wrong one.

Top photo shows the Perrin Impreza one how it doesn't fit. Bottom photo shows the fit of the OEM.

This photo shows the BRZ 2" antenna that fits properly.

Why not, I want people to see my tail lights, especially if I'm using the brakes on a low visibility situation

@lebreen The Pro Kit is only springs. However, the drop offered by these isn't THAT much, so it shouldn't be bad. Plus, they're not "race springs", so they shouldn't destroy the stock shocks as quickly. I had Skunk2 race springs on my Si for two years with no issues until the end.

@sleep I believe the one I got was in fact the correct one. I got it on eBay, but it was through a Perrin retailer. And this seller did only have the 2" and 4" BRZ listed one.. So we shall see!

Any thoughts on the hks hybrid drop in filter? I think if anything ill gain sound but don't want to lose filtering power or power period.
I know oiled filters can cause problems so perrin is out.
Anyone else using a panel filter that can fill me in?

Imho if it's a panel filter there is nothing to be gained.

Have any of you 5MT guys noticed mild pinging at low RPM (1500-2500) and heavy throttle?
