Here here! I would rather a temp gauge and/or analog fuel gauge. I absolutely hate both those things in this car. The rest I love minus the cheap paint. Luckily my car did not get as bad as the ones I have seen here though its only been six month. But yeah I dislike that fuel plus minus gauge.

To those of you wanting more info readouts.. Have you considered an Ultra Gauge or something similar? One of those guys that looks like a GPS unit, but plugs into your OBD port.. You can adjust what is showed. My friend had one on his Leggy GT.

So is that just a software thing? What's the secret procedure for changing to the Canadian screen?

Which screen is this? Or is this something only available at the sport trim level?

It's actually a really simple procedure, you buy an Impreza from Canada.

Among other things, you'd need a steering wheel with the controls.

That MPG thing is only good to tell you if you're driving on level road, up/down an incline and how steep it is.

I think alot of people are going to feel the same way about the loss of 5dr wrx.

However i dont think subaru will suffer from it. They will get plenty of people to purchase these cars because they are more mainstream-sports-car-esque

As for the brz, it is in very high demand and for 25k, probably worth every penny. Maybe a let down to you but in general its been very successful so far.

The wrx is not their best car, subaru makes their money from impreza, outback, and forrester sales. wrx is your favorite subaru perhaps.

I was gonna buy a diamond white FRS in manual before I got the wagon. But I figured that going from a track prepped 11 Si to an FRS would not follow my original reasoning of buying a new car (practicality). So I bought the Impreza Sport. I could have gotten a base WRX wagon for a little more than my Sport, but at the same time, I would have ended up still putting way too much money into modding the car. That's what I like about my Sport. With only a few mods, the car goes from mildly boring to really clean. Just how I like it.

Let downs? The BRZ is the best car I've ever driven (and yes I've driven other much faster cars too). Fun is the name of the game.

Its only available in Canada. It comes with controls on the steering wheel as well
Below are some pics of the different screen options.

This one shows average gas left gas average gas consumption.

Time, Date, and a few other options to choose from. Can be analog or digital.

Triple meter. Shows trip time, km driven, and engine temp gauge. There are other available options to choose from as well.

Shows which wheels are slipping out during slippery conditions or when going around hard turns at speed.

Bar graph showing your gas consumption for every 30 seconds of driving. There is a red line and it shows if you are going above or below your average consumption.

Similar to last screen. Shows average consumption + or -

There are many other things that are included with the screen. You can set birthday reminders, maintenance reminders, and a bunch of other stuff I currently dont remember.
This screen really helps you want to get the best gas consumption possible. At times I find myself driving slow and doing anything I can to get the best possible gas consumption. Just today I drove over 150 km right after filling up the tank and the average km remaining stayed at above 700 km for the whole trip.
Useful stuff, but also at times useless.

Those screens are awesome. Id pay extra for that. Makes the usdm display look like a joke. lol

Looks like the new wrx is basically a 4dr awd brz.

I just installed my 19mm rsb tonight. I've only driven it around the block for a test drive, so I can't really comment on it yet.

Its available on the '14 Forester in the US now. Maybe a model refresh will make it available on the Impreza Limited or XV .
