i bought my side deflectors after purchasing the car from subarupartswarehouse for like 60 or 70 bucks after discount and installed it myself. its very straight forward and simple once you get the rubber window molding off the door window frame. after that its just peel off the 3m like tape and stick it on.

as for wind noise, i thought it wouldnt be noisy with them on but its the same i wouldnt say it increases i mean you cant have the window rolled all the way down and expect them to do anything for the wind. i would just have to be rolled down to the where the visor ends.

i like these things bc on hot or even rainy days i can leave my window cracked for ventilation and not worry about someone trying to pry my windows or water getting in it.

My question was regarding wind noise with the windows fully closed, but it sounds like that's not an issue anymore.

Ya, no increase in noise with window up. Love the OEM deflectors. Easy to install like others have said.

Had my seat back squeak fixed for the 2nd time yesterday. This time they installed the new parts from the TSB instead of replacing the seat back with the same paper wrapped springs. They also replaced my heated seat element that had bunched up in the seat bottom. Feels MUCH better now.

But now I can be added to the list with the early release models with the passenger airbag issue. So that sensor is on order now. Luckily I rarely drive with a passenger.

When they did the TSB for squeaky seat they did the wrong seat, and screwed some other stuff up. So, on the driver seat, the one that actually needed it, I just took it apart and etaped it silent. All's silent now, and if it ever starts to squeak again, a few cents of etape will solve it!

Your front lip looks great. Wickedly vulnerable to damage, but great.

Where we live that would be called a temporary snow plow, temporary because it would not last more than one storm, lol.

Hell- you dont even need snow- a good size water puddle may do the trick. Here in the rainy season I once ripped a whole front bumper ocf hitting 8-10" of runoff from a flood in the road.
Great looking lip, though. Just be careful. And enjoy, it does look nice!

I didn't see the inside of the seat, but it wasn't visible from looking at the seat. I could feel it. Right where you don't want to feel it. It was like sitting on something like a lighter, or Chapstick or battery or something. Sometimes I noticed it more when turning to get in or out of the seat, but not visible from the outside to take a pic.

not sure what happened with my oil change today, but i put in 5qts 10oz of oil and ended up about 1/8" below the full dot. normally that would be 3/16" above the full dot, or about 6oz low. so maybe I somehow drained out more oil than normal?

That is strange. 5 quarts and 10 ounces (.3125 quart) is the right amount. How many times did you check it? Maybe the dipstick wasn't all the way in the first time
