FWIW, Costco will have the goodyear frameless on sale for 4.99/ea starting on 9/5/13. I'm currently using them and am very pleased, i plan to go buy another set to have on the shelf. regular price is good though too at 7.99/ea

How do you remove the trim around the AT shift knob? Easy? Tricky?

Trim removal tool works best. Take flathead if that all you have and get under it and pry out a clip from side and use hand to pull the rest off with help from tool as you go.

Did you have to remove the parking break boot?

I tried as well to remove the center trim, but no luck. Instead i just took a thin squeegee and tucked the CF vinyl between the surrounding trim and silver shift trim.

Guys, quick question.

Did a full fill up on the Subaru today for the first time in months (been driving my CRX). I didn't even notice until after, but I filled it up from almost empty with 93 (required on my CRX). Will the computer be thrown off because of this at all? I haven't owned a vehicle in years that didn't require 93, so I'm not familiar with putting 93 in one that doesn't take it. I assume it'll run a hair better, but overall it's just a waste. lol I know I ran 91 on my old V8 cars just to liven it up a hair with the old system..

Thoughts?

You will have no problems, but you won't detect any improvement either. The Impreza runs exactly the same, regardless of whether you use 87, 91, or 93 octane.

Trust me, I've already experimented with this.

I've used 93 a handful of times with no issues. If anything, it got slightly better fuel economy.

It certainly is touchy. As is are all new cars.. But it seems more so with the CVT jobs..
