Nice! I was figuring it wasn't anything major.. A little eye-balling should do the trick.

Yeah, I had the OEM metal ones on my Si and loved how they looked and felt. Plus, I think the silver pedals would accent the silver dash trim nicely..

Default Suspension spring for 2012 2.0i

So if you used tire rack for your 2012 subaru impreza and clicked on suspension. The H&R Sport spring set is there.

I was wondering has anyone ordered them and tried putting them on this car. It says its supposed to drop about an inch plus. So if you had some nice wheels on there it could look very nice.

Let me know if you have and how the process went.

Last time I searched, they were still in RD and not being sold. Has this changed? Coilovers are still optimal, but this works too..

Ya, it sucks. It forces you to get remote start to warm up, and then shut off everytime u stop. I let my diesels run all day when I'm out and about. That's probably a EPA party foul now ;-)

Hmm... I know it won't lock with the door button (w/ door open), did you try to lock it with the spare key?

I found out the same yesterday. I have never let the car warm up before, but we were taking a trip and people were arriving at my place in their warm car, I didn't want them to have to get into a cold car.

The car was locked, I started it, and shut the door. It stayed locked. I came out a little bit later with my other key and unlocked the driver door. I had to use the key btw, because the remote entry function wouldn't work.

Once it was unlocked, while it was running, I couldn't lock anything again.

Hmm...a little annoying, but I suppose it's for the best.

Anyone ever consider relocating the seat heater switch? I know it's being picky but I find it a pain in the a$$ where it is now. If I have time over Xmas break I may consider relocating it to in front of where the shift knob is, same place I put my fun switch.

That might be a consideration, I never really paid attention to having seat heaters, I've never had them before, till one morning I must have turned it on when putting my seat belt on. A couple of miles down the road my butt got hot, enough that I pulled over and stopped, got out and looked underneath the car to check my cat and make sure it was not glowing red. Getting back in I noticed the switches were lit up, problem explained.

Uh, yeah!

And that's exactly where I'd put it too.

My passengers are always bitching because I leave the seats on all the time, and it's a PITA to fumble with when you have the armrest forward...

Yeah, I'll take a look tomorrow maybe. I just hope the wires are long enough to reach to make it easier.

Also, my H9 connectors today. Wired it and installed but it's raining out! Hopefully it stops soon so I can take some pictures for those interested

I think it'll look great with your paint. Do you have yellow fog bulbs also?

Let me know how this works out, and also show pics of the new location and also show what you do with the existing switch location (or are you just planning to disconnect but leave the existing switches installed?).

That's a good question about the old location... What do non equipped cars have? Knock outs, covers?

It is a "safety" feature. I had the valet key in ignition, and I tried normal key fob, button on door, and manually moving the lock. It either didn't respond or unlocked 1 second later.

From pictures it looks like it's a cover, however, on the parts website I can't find it listed. I only see the actual switch available

As per the OEM heated seat replacement, the non-heated seat cars simply have one solid block off plate (square shape) to replace the switches. I just looked in a base-model here at work. Looks like it just pops in, in place of the switches.

Don't get me wrong, I like the STI Medal pedals and was considering ordering them as well with the 20 percent off at Subaru parts warehouse (went with the front underspoiler instead), but isn't it kind of tacky putting on "STI" parts on a car no where near what an STI is? I really like the black and white shift knob as well but it has the STI emblem on it as well but kinda hard to justify when our imprezas aren't STIs.

I feel the same way, which is why I haven't done it myself.

However, you must remember that STI was originally a manufacturer of parts before there was an STI Impreza. So I don't think there's anything wrong with it. That, and I like metal pedals. So I will do it regardless. lol
