Thumbs down Pepboys Alameda and Broadway

THESE PEOPLE ARE THE MOST INEPT, FLIPPIN MORONIC DIPSTiCKS I'VE EVER LET WORK ON MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

okay....I feel a little better....

Round 1....3 months ago, I bought my 84 cutlass wagon. It ain't pretty but runs really well. Anyway, I took it to them because they were only two miles away from where I bought it. They proceeded to put two of the wrong tires on it, and didn't test the brakes before I drove it home. The left front caliper ended up seizing. Not enough to hurt the rotor or pads, tho...This was after I went up there to pick it up the first time, and caught the guy putting the two wrong tires on it. He still let it go with the two wrong tires and the seized caliper on it the next day!

Round 2......Car sat for a while because it wasn't registered or insured. That's now been fixed. I drive it back up there, and they eventually put two of the right tires on it. The mechanic said there was nothing wrong with the brakes, tho...I DROVE IT THERE SQUEALING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!
The manager finally reams his ass enough so he admits he didn't do the brakes. Here we are two days later and it still hasn't been touched!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who can I call? Who can I sue? Who can beat into a pretty stain on a shop floor???????????????????????

This is ridiculous!!!Never go there. Store 241 at Alameda and Broadway.

BBBBLLLLAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! !

Default THE END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welll...after getting it back on the lift, they called me back and said I needed two brake hoses, and new fluid. They hadn't mentioned that when they put on the new brakes. Estimate:

225 dollars!!!

I told them to screw themselves and I can do it myself for 40 bucks. :monkey:

While I'm at it, who wants Raybestos brake parts at cost Guaranteed faster better service!

//rant mode off

Okay..I feel better now. I have my car back in one piece, and it's only going to take about 2 hours and 40 bucks to fix it. Time to buy stock in Craftsman, too!
