Default New Civic coupe prototype spy photos

http://www.civicx.com/threads/2016-h...ction-form.26/

It's looking pretty similar to the coupe concept which imo is a good thing so long as they tone down the rear a bit.

It looks big in pictures...both in camo and concept form. I'd be curious as to how much bigger it will become for '16. Can't wait to see the return of the hatch!

I'm sure it will be a slick ride. Honda has been out of the game here in the US for way to many years.

I dig the back end of the concept, but the front is just way too Fast and Furious for me.

Just another Civic (read: disappointment) that Honda won't bring in full form, especially those taillights.

I will not rule them out yet. I think there is some brewing passion left in Honda that is trying to make its way out.

You do not get back in F1 for ****s and giggles. You have to be making a statement.

Of course right now that statement is full of suck.

It looks longer but sleeker too. I think they said 3" longer wheelbase which is fine if it means roomier interior.. just don't add it to the overhangs.

Nice to see they moved the front pillars back, the Civic was creeping into minivan territory.

As a previous Honda nut with just a few connections left....

The story I heard was Soichiro's grandson is involved at some level of the company (I didn't do any research so he could be CEO for all I know) and got pissed off at all the bean counters who took over the company. He lit a fire up under the arses and started pushing for "projects" in the 4 wheel departments and this current stuff is the fruit of that. Heard that from someone I trust that works for them but it's only as valuable as what you paid for it.

Pretty sick rendering. I'm all for the hot hatch coming to the U.S. but wouldn't mind a Type R coupe too... the back view still has those wrap around tails im not so sure about.

As much as I am a huge advocate of hatches and wagons, the Civic hatch looks like dog ****. That ^^^^ however is pretty damn good looking.

Whyyyyyyyy cant they be smart and MAKE THIS EXACT CAR That thing looks badass.

A bumper is a bumper, side skirts are side skirts, a rear bumper is a rear bumper and tail lights are tail lights so they can all be produced.....quit with the bland cars.

It's 2" off the ground, though. They can't sell a car in Detroit that will instantly lose it's bumper on the test drive in January.
