Mine are from Cobb-Tuning. They required some fine-tuning as well where they pass through the strut bracket. I found I needed to use a combination of the clips they came with and the OEM clips to secure the "slider". Never messed with an RS so I couldn't tell ya if the fittings differ.

Post Strange...I thought they would work too

Hey jaconhorn,

This was going to be my next mod and I thought it was a straightforward job.

I believe you want Goodridge set #24212, howevere IF this is what you got and it's not working...I'm stumped.

You can go here and check out the various sets: Nippon Power

Good luck!

Cheers,

Bill

mine were marked "impreza turbo" and fit fine. don't remember how they were attached to the struts, though.

Hey, why didn't you email me?

Those are the correct lines for your car. Whoever the tech is, he's full of it. They probably didn't want to do them, so they just made up an excuse. As far as the clips, I'm a bit confused. I thought those came with new clips, however, all the parts were in the box that were in there when I bought them new. I called Dale Teague and confirmed that those are the correct lines for the Legacy. He said he has sold many pairs to Legacy owners and has yet to recieve a complaint. If you can't put them on yourself and you can't get anyone else to do it, just let me know, and I'll buy them back from you. Sorry.

Steven,

I sent you an email last night. Thanks for the gracious offer to buy them back. I hope that is not necessary. I checked the Web last night and it sure looks like those are the correct lines. I will take them somewhere else and TELL them to install them
Unfortunately, I did not get to talk to the tech that tried to install them to get his specific reasoning. Next time I will stand over his shoulder and make sure they do or don't fit. I trust that these may very well be the correct lines, and the brake guy was wrong.
Thanks for all the feedback.
