In case anybody hasn't posted this yet...
Good plugs to use! I have noticed that the car starts quicker first of all.. Also, I believe that there is slightly more power in the mid-range 3K-4K RPM compared to the stock plugs. The car also seems to pull well in this range especially in 3rd or 4th gear compared to with what I had before. Does anybody else agree? I got these from the NGK website (ie Monarch products) for 36$ total. I heard from an ISR performance rep that there might be NGK performance wires coming out as well in the near future for the RS.. Hey TIm,
Go buy some copper NGK's gap them and put them in, and see if you notice any difference in performance. You can go from very good worn out spark plugs, to some Walmart seconds and have good initial results. New spark plugs ALWAYS work better than old ones. (Unless you buy some real turds) Greg |

Are those plugs for your car the same that would go in my 2000 Legacy wagon? I have the 2.5 Phase II SOHC engine.
What is the part number for those plugs? Could you please post them? |

To Outback mack,
The NGK spark plugs you need to use are probably the same as mine. As for the part number, you can use the parts locator at http://www.ngk.com . Just go through their site and you'll find it. Tim |

I got these at my local O'Reilly Auto Parts store for $5.64 each I think. They had to order them in. I put them in last Oct and have 7000+ miles on them. The car seemed to start easier over the winter and it idles slightly smoother. For $23 it was a cheap tryout........................Doug
