Looking at width of tires here.....how big can you go before you have to roll the fender?
Also looking for a healthy mod list anyone...ideas? Looking at getting some rota-d force rims.....18x9.5 +40 5x114 will i have to roll the fenders for them to fit? and what tire size should i go with(not a tire person) i want a meaty look without rolling the fenders but if i have to then let it be ![]()

Your not going to be able to use those wheels, you need 5x100 pattern for the wrx, from what I know the d-forces aren't offered in that aggressive of an offset yet for the wrx fitment, but search around, that's also really aggressive to run on the car without having to roll fenders most likely, do a little more research on a less wide/offset wheel and then look up tire sizes, I was going to get the d-force for my wrx but I got a set of bbs wheels, they are 18x8.5 +30, I'll probably run 245/35 tires on there, just in case u wanted some food for thought

According to this thread its still 5x100, plus there are people all over 3gwrx.com selling their stock wheels, its majority a wrx site so they would be wasting time to sell the wheels on there, plus subaru wouldn't do that bc it would take away from the sti, same reasons why the wrx doesn't have a 6speed yet, so to my current knowledge you can use those wheels |

Isn't there a Tire & Wheel forum for discussion of tires and wheels?

well this thread is also about mods also so i decided to post it in this thread instead of going to 2 different places and posting the small thing twice but i guess i am getting no help here and thanks.....and also Rota D-Force 18x8.5 +48 5x100 so they do make a decent wheel from rota with a good offset
thanks for informing me of the lug pattern i heard it changed but its all good i did my research by posting it here to find out if i was right or not.....haven't scene my car at since i am in afghanistan at the moment. On the other hand will i have to roll the fenders? and what should i order for it before i get home.....i have spoke with cobb and i am gonna go with the stage 2 with thier cold air intake and bpv o and mighty red shift knob :P |

"The Subaru Conversions forum on NASIOC is for technical discussion about any major conversion or swap on any model Subaru. (engine, tranny, interior, etc...)" Surprisingly enough, if you post wheel & tire fitment questions in the Tires & Wheels forum you'll get more responses. Stay safe over there in Afghanistan! |
