Default Broken rear seat foldown knob

I recently broke the knob on the passenger side rear seat fold down and now I can't fold the seat down anymore. I still have the knob but I can't even see the rod(?) that it would attach to. I think it fell into the seat. Am I screwed and have to take it to a shop or do any fellow NASIOCers have any suggestions? Thanks for the help in advance

Try a mechanics magnet to fish the rod out.
