Default 17x9s that fit the STi without spacers

The following is a list of 17x9, 5x114.3 wheels that have been confirmed to clear OEM brembo calipers: Disclaimer: higher than +45 offset may cause interference between the rear tire and strut depending on what section width tire you decide to run.

57 MotorSport G07WT (+45)

5zigen FN01R-C (+43)

Advan RS (+45)
Advan RGII (+45)
Advan RG-D (+45)

AME TM-02 (+44)

Enkei NT03+m (17x9.5 +44)
Enkei RP03 (+40)

Kosei K1TS (+45)

Rota DPT (+42)
Rota Grid (+42)

Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 (+40)

TR Motorsport C3 (+48) NOTE: requires 3mm spacer = +45 effective offset

WedsSport tc0005 (+42)
WedsSport Tc105n (+49)

Unconfirmed: (as of 3/22/11)

TR Motorsport MT1R (17x9 +40)
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 (17x9 +45)
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.3 S2000 Spec (17x9 +45)
5Zigen GN+ (17x9.5 +43)
SSR Type-F (17x9 +40)

I'm especially interested to see if anyone has experience with the Team Dynamics 1.2 in 17x9, +45 or the S2000 spec 1.3s.

Even with the +42, you'll need to roll your fenders in the rear if you plan to run a 255.

All of those will clear brembos (pretty sure the RP03 will) without issue. Try looking into a 17x8.5 or 18x8.5 with a mid 40's offset unless you are set on a 17".

I don't have a problem rolling or even pulling fenders if it's required.

All the wheels I've listed have already been confirmed as clearing STi brembos without spacers. What I'm hoping for is someone who can add to my list.

and yes, I'm set on 17s. 18s are just extra unsprung weight, rolling resistance and rotational inertia imo, unless they're needed for brake clearance.

I cannot speak for other 17x9, but I can tell you that the DPT is a great wheel at a great price. They are also pretty tough. The +42 will fit a 255 with a roll and MAYBE a mild pull in the rear.

No one here knows of any 17x9s that fit an STi other than the ones I listed?

there are limited options in that offset.

there are several other 17x9's that clear brembos, but nothing close to the offset you are looking for. There is also the option for custom orders.

Most likely untrue. I've been researching this for a while.

There are plenty of 17x9s in a proper offset/bolt pattern, I'm just not sure if they clear brembos or not.

Examples:

TR Motorsport C3 (17x9 +48)
TR Motorsport MT1R (17x9 +40)
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 (17x9 +40, +45)
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.3 S2000 Spec (17x9 +40, +45)
5Zigen GN+ (17x9.5 +43)
SSR Type-F (17x9 +40)

There has to be at least a few of those that will clear brembos. I'm just hoping for confirmation.

The WedsSport Tc105n (17x9 +49) and Advan RS (17x9 +45) should clear. They both clear my Stoptech ST-40's with plenty of room. Of course that's no guarantee. I am also interested to see what other wheels from that list will clear.

thanks man!

and according to the guy selling the wheels here:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2136182
the 17x9 +45 Advan RS does clear brembos.

If I can get $1400 together before they sell I might just have to snatch them up. My car came black on gold from the factory.

Yeah. I saw them too. If they weren't gold I'd have picked them up.

I'd really like to know if any of these fit:

TR Motorsport C3 (17x9 +48)
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 (17x9 +45)
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.3 S2000 Spec (17x9 +45)

Any idea what car the TR Motorsport C3 fits on?

Good to know, and a bummer. Is it close, or way off?

Darn. I think those wheels actually look really nice. Thanks for the input.

Guess I can cross that one off the list...

It's not even close due to the pad height as well as the spoke design. Really a bummer as they are SUPER cheap and relatively light. Can't beat them for the price....

17x9 +44 AME TM-02 should fit over the brembos and is under your 2k limit. It's like an expensive kosei k1-ts lol

^^^I ordered one tr c3 17x9+48 for tomorrows shippment" I have a wholesale account with them" just to see myself how far off they are..I have an assortment of spacers 3mm,5mm,etc on the shelf. I know you are looking for a none spacer fitment but if these fit with lets say a 5mm and arp studs, it may be worth looking into..

Wow that's awesome, thanks! It'll be nice to either confirm or deny another wheel on the "unsure" list.

Drag dr31 17x9 +38s will fit, i know they are cheaper and a bit lower offset than you were looking for, im running 255/40/17's on mine with a +28 offset (which i may have machined off at some point)

Yeah. For me +38 is to low. +45 is as low as I can go without more fender work.
